Hey guys, Nikki Novak here for Young Hollywood. Can you guess where I am? I am going behind the scenes with the cast of Dancing with the Stars as they prepare for their nationwide live tour. Cha, cha, cha. I feel like I should just intro you as Alfonso and Whitney because they've been doing that on the show all season long. Do you feel like you're joined at the hip at this point?

Um, only only during interviews and and ballroom dances.

And yeah, it's true.

Yes, exactly.

So, I walked in and I said, somebody smells really good. I said, who is this? I said, it's one of you two and I went.

No.

Yeah.

Way to go. Can you hate me now? Wait, you hate me now? Can you hate me now?

No, no, wait. Explain, explain. Like, I don't smell bad.

No, you actually smell good. You smell. For people at home who can't smell these lovely dancers. You smell clean but he had like a cologne.

Yeah. He just sprayed a cologne. Yeah.

Okay. I'm here with Emma Slater. So good to see you.

Yeah, know, you I was just watching your rehearsal. You guys blow my mind. How long have you been dancing for?

I start when I was five and I did ballet and tap. Um but when I was five all I really wanted to do was just like go with all this energy and run around. So I kind of found the ballet side of dance quite um restrictive. Yeah. And uh so I revisited dance later on when I was nine and I watched a demonstration of two dancers and they did this Latin American dance and she dropped into the splits and I was absolutely like mesmerized. So I begged my mom and dad, please, please take me and it ended up just becoming my life.

First of all, you had such an incredible and you both, obviously, congratulations champions.

Do you know that you were number, I think, number one trending person for Kim Kardashian? Do you know that?

Yeah. When?

Right after the show. Like right after the show ended. Yep.

My name?

Yeah. Whitney Carson.

Well, well, me, it was, it was pressure, to be honest with you. Like

Yeah, I can imagine.

I came on the show and you know, I didn't know anyone. I mean, you know, I knew them. I was like, oh, Sasha from the floor, you know. And so when I came to the show everything was on me. Like, you know, the directing side of things of of my numbers, the lighting, the music, everything was, you know.

I mean, do you really choreograph all of it? Really do. And people ask me that all the time. But it almost seems impossible to come up with the amount of numbers that you do week to week and the different things.

Yeah, we do. And as soon as I got to the to the the ballroom, like the hall and stuff. I was so happy. Oh my gosh. This is happening for me. Like the big mirror ball stuff. I'm actually a little starstruck. I voted for you. I went to the finale. I was screaming the first one you heard screaming. That was me. And I voted for. Yes. Favorite contestant in all the seasons. In all the seasons. And I don't think you needed my help.

She's so amazing because we we learned very early how to how to get the information to me. Three or four days in. It was like I was starting to understand and she was understanding how I learned and it just really just worked right from the beginning. And our energy just was like we we both had this like this goal of making sure we had fun throughout the competition.

And how is that your ball in your house? Cuz I saw that the Instagram picture with your son reaching up for it cuz you know,

Yeah, you know, it's just it's it's a pretty little thing. It's a pretty little thing. It's a pretty.

Can I borrow it for a week?

Yeah. You know, we I'm leaving town for a couple months, you know.

Listen, whenever you need a babysitter. All right. I will look after it. I'll water it. Right.

You water. You water the you water.

Oh my gosh. Do you have a dream guest? I dream dance. Somebody that you could dance with?

Yeah. Um William Shatner.

Are you serious?

Do you know what it is? I don't know. He just seems like such a nice guy and I feel like he would be really funny. In ballroom dances is when she tells me get to my hip. What is that mean? What's your hip?

Well, when we're we're in a hold. We're going to be here when we do the stuff. There can't be any space between. So she's always telling me to get to my hip.

You know, so I I um. You can do that in life too. It's a good thing. Tell people get to get to their hip. Yeah. You know, in relationships, you know, you just tell your partner get to my hip. So just do like a figure eight with your hips. I go this way, this way, this way. Now.

Okay, she does have rhythm. Yeah, you're a good dancer. Yeah, you're a good dancer. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Obviously, everybody talks about the ball. My favorite move was in the freestyle. This one. Which I can't do because I don't have.

Oh, you kind of do. Oh yeah. Oh yeah.

But Sasha and Keo were telling me, they said you can tell if somebody has rhythm when they walk in the room. Yeah. And they said they didn't think I had any but I just proved it.

That's true. That's not true. You have rhythm. Forward, back, side together. Side. Oh, you do have rhythm. You really do. But I can tell you why they probably said that.

Why?

Is because beautiful people like yourself, aka models, don't always have the best rhythm. And that's like that's kind of a fact, you know.

So now you're taking it on the road. Um a lot of cities. You're hosting. Yes. Right now trying to find that hosting vibe and the flavor and all of that. But um I think it's gonna be an amazing show and the reason is is that this show is really pays uh homage to the 10 years of the pros and what they do and how amazing they are. You guys so sweet. Were awesome together.
