Hey Young Hollywood, I'm Jillian Rose Reed from MTV's Awkward and this is my Movie Awards diary.

I'm getting ready for the MTV Movie Awards with my awesome hair and makeup team.

Say hi, you guys.

Hi.

So we're now on season 4 of Awkward, which is crazy.

And you know, in the beginning, MTV had never really done any scripted shows.

So we were one of the first ones, us and Teen Wolf, which is their dramatic show.

And you know, we didn't really know what was going to happen.

We were on the ground floor of the scripted development program and um, we were kind of just winging it.

And then it kind of got really popular over Twitter and everything just kind of started circulating and now here we are four seasons later and it's just been crazy.

We've won a People's Choice Award, we've been nominated for two People's Choice Awards.

Getting ready for the Movie Awards is obviously a little different than getting ready for a normal day.

You know, I just like to kind of have a relaxed morning.

Like this morning I actually got up, I cleaned, I went to breakfast with my mom, and just kind of like hung out.

It's going to be a long day.

The the red carpet's usually pretty long, so I don't like to, you know, get up and workout or anything.

Um It has changed my life.

I mean, I went from being a little girl who moved to LA with her mom and, you know, hoping that I would land something and auditioning for years and then finally getting something and then hoping that the show that you get goes somewhere to having it go somewhere.

So, it's been awesome and it's been crazy, but it's my dream come true.

This is actually the fourth time that I've gone to the Movie Awards.

It's so much fun.

MTV, first of all, throws really good parties.

So, um, these award shows are always really fun.

There's a lot of really cool people.

Last time I went to one of these shows, I saw Katy Perry and I cried on the red carpet because I love her so much.

So, it's always really cool to like see, you know, a bunch of different artists and actors.

This is the Movie Awards, so there's going to be lots of cool actors there.

I think Jared Leto's going, who obviously just won an Oscar, so that's really cool.

So, it's just kind of fun to be surrounded by a bunch of awesome people.

I don't get as nervous anymore.

I mean, with with shows like this, my entire cast is going to be there and we're such a big family that it kind of I think it kind of helps because we're always comfortable with each other.

So, when we're taking pictures together, we're always laughing and, you know, goofing around with each other and it makes it a lot less stressful.

We video taped ourselves kissing last night.

We made an entry.

They told us we could come.

If we don't win, we're boycotting.

Yeah.

This is the fun part of my job.

I mean, my entire job is fun, but this is like the party that comes after the work and, um, I'm really, really happy that I get to be a part of something so awesome.

Especially with MTV because something crazy happens every single year.

You know, I mean, obviously, you go to like the Oscars or the Sag Awards and they're very, you know, best performance, best male performance, but MTV likes to get a little crazy.

They have like a Best Kiss Award.

I was just feet away from Miley Cyrus when she was twerking on Robin Thicke at the VMAs last year.

So, it's kind of cool to just be a part of like this history that MTV always makes.

So, I'm really excited to get in the car and I'm really excited to go and see what kind of craziness happens this year.

Um we're really excited.

We just finished getting ready and now we're just heading down to Downtown LA.

We are pulling into the Nokia Center, which is where the awards are being held.

And we're actually pretty close.

I don't know if you guys can see all the buildings, downtown and everything, but we're we're pulling up and pretty soon we'll be able to see the carpet and all of the press people and it'll be crazy and we're going to get swooped away and uh, go do the carpet.

Oh my gosh.
