Hey everybody. You Young Hollywood get to come along with me for an all access pass as I get ready for, um, singing the National Anthem at a little thing called the Super Bowl. So, um, come along. Let's go. Woo! Hello everybody. Come on in. Welcome to Miami. Um, I wanted to invite you all on an amazing journey with me, um, as I get ready to sing the National Anthem for a very big game and um, we're just really excited. So come on in and let's take a look around. Aw, no, I am from Oklahoma and I've never, I mean before American Idol, I had never been on a plane before. So, I'd certainly never been out to Miami and it's really cool that, you know, I get to go to all kinds of different places.

I mean, we just came from LA. I'm in Miami now. I'm going to Hawaii in a few days. Not too shabby. It's it's a fun life. It can get a little taxing every once in a while, which is why I'm glad I, um, have lots of good things with me to, uh, make things a little bit easier like my dog and I always make sure and go grab good food so I'm not always eating, um, like take out and stuff like that. As soon as we landed in Miami, um, my number one priority was getting luggage and then we came here, dropped everything off and went to the grocery store before, um, it was going to close. And it almost closed on us. We almost got kicked out but I managed to grab a few things.

I have some veggie burgers, of course. Um, some baked cheese. I'm weird like that. A few veggies, you know. And of course, Vitamin Water. I love to cook but I'm I'm not used to this in a hotel room. Um, so I kind of more of a wiz with the microwave. They give you a stove but no like cookware. So, it's kind of hard to, um, be the master chef that I am. We need to get some more. We need to get some more dog food. Ace and I have been together for about three years. Ace is a rat terrier. And, um, I call him a brat terrier. It's cute 'cause he doesn't actually bite down. Okay, that kind of hurts. Ow! Ow! Your turn, Ace. Don't be embarrassing things. Uh, as you can see, uh, this room's a hobbit.

Um, these are potential things that I could be wearing at any given time, um, over the weekend. Uh, lots of good stuff, lots of pretty things. Haven't quite made my decision yet on, uh, what I'll be wearing singing the anthem in but, um, rest assured, I will not disappoint. There's a few things I've already kind of tried on because, um, we are constantly needing clothes for various things. So, we just have fittings every once in a while. And, uh, because sometimes I need a little help making decisions. And Ace is the, uh, the tie breaker. What do you think? What do you think? That one? You like that one? I do too. And over there is my makeup. Um, I wake up naturally beautiful.

So, I don't know why we need all this but, um, you know, I suppose every old barn looks better with a coat of paint. Um, now I know what you're thinking. Carrie, that's all you need to look beautiful? No, actually. Today is not the big day. Today is like rehearsal day, you know, just kind of getting into the swing of things, feeling my way through it. When I'm on the road, I I do my own makeup when I'm doing concerts and stuff like that. I love makeup. I love doing hair. It I'm a girly girl and I I absolutely love that stuff. So I do that stuff myself. I'm a little nervous right now because they keep saying the word, uh, the words HD screens and HD cameras.

I don't know if I like that so much. Um, I don't know if any lady would like that so much because I've even had, you know, days where I've told the camera guy to stay far away. Ah! Smell that fresh Miami air. I love the ocean. Who doesn't love the ocean? I would love to wake up to this every day. It's much more peaceful out here. I I can not just sit around and think about the pressure and the nerves. I'm going to be going through. I think I'm going to be more nervous than the players actually. So, this is Ace. That is photoshoot. Here's Ace in a tuxedo. Here's Ace on a bike. Ace, buddy, I'm going to have to leave you home. Leave you here. They won't let doggies on the field.

All right, so you saw the kitchen. You saw the living area. Um, head it out now. That's the bedroom but it's kind of messy so we don't want to see that. And uh, here we go. Off to rehearsal. Here we go. I am not nervous today because today we're just rehearsing but I will be nervous on Sunday. The Star Spangled Banner. This is what summarizes our country in two and a half minutes. It's something that has stood the test of time and I think that's a lot of weight to carry on your shoulders. Especially, I was asking about numbers how many people tuned in to watch the Super Bowl and um, it was scary. I don't know, it's just there's so much fun and so much pride involved in a day like this.

So, it's it's going to be a lot of fun. Some of the most important things that I can do, um, for a big day, big performance, big rehearsal is just to take care of myself beforehand. You know, people are like, what kinds of warmups do you do? What do you do? Um, a lot of that just comes with living a a great lifestyle, you know, eating right, exercising, drinking well, um, just, you know, being conscious of those things and then when the big moments come, you're ready for them. Here we are. Going in for rehearsal. Hope you have a good day. Until then. I know I will. All right, so we just got done with rehearsals and it went really well.

Queen Latifah sounded amazing and, um, I I think I did pretty well. So, we're on the go again and, um, this time we're headed to a party. There's a lot of Super Bowl party stuff going on this week and, um, there's a good one we're headed to that I should see a lot of familiar faces and also hopefully meet some new people. Uh, but most importantly, get to relax. We're going to see what Miami night life has to offer. So the party was awesome. Uh, had a lot of fun. Got to hang out with a lot of really cool people and, uh, now we're headed back to the hotel so I can get my rest. Hey Young Hollywood. I'm sleepy and I gotta get my rest.
