I'm here with Richard Sherman and Lindsey Vonn, two people you wouldn't expect to see together, but you have mutual admiration for each other.
Oh, definitely, definitely, man. She's a tremendous competitor and a great athlete and has has accomplished some great things. And I'm just a squirrel in her world, you know, she's big time.
You want to throw some back? No, I'm definitely not a squirrel. I mean, jeez, I was at the Super Bowl watching and I was pretty darn impressed with your performance and I mean, you're a Stanford alum, so I got to love you.
Oh, I appreciate that. I appreciate that. Yeah, it's it's a tremendous honor to be in her presence and and to be a Cartoon Network Hall of Games, it's a big deal for me.
So you can you'll give her your Super Bowl ring, right?
You know, I can't technically give her that, but you know, you know, there's a Stanford connection here, so uh, you know,
You can borrow it maybe. She would look great with her dress.
Yeah, it would go great with her dress. It'd be a great accent.
So eating fresh staying in shape, tip from both of you guys.
That's one of the biggest tools that you can use is is eating fresh and and because it allows you to stay in shape. It allows your body to get all the nutrients that you need to to be an amazing athlete, to recover, to to go out there and perform weekend and week out.
Just do whatever you can. I mean, whether it's, you know, not taking the elevator and walking upstairs or doing a couple push-ups, you know, every every day, it's the little things that make a huge difference and trying to maybe not go for the donuts and um go for something healthier, that always helps too.
I actually just talked to Marshawn Lynch at the Super Bowl. You're an A-lister on the field and you're unstoppable. Advice. Your A-lister advice to being unstoppable in life.
It's simple. If you make your mind up on it, just go for it.
He actually talked to me. I was so excited. He was I tell you one of the rare ones. I got really, really lucky. So the mental like A-list advice, that sort of like having that mental strength.
Be locked in. Don't let outside distractions get to you. You got to have a certain zone you get to regardless to the situation, regardless of where you are in the world. You have to have a zone that you go to 100% of the time, that you're stuck in when you're playing your sport or you're doing what you got to do. So you have to find that zone and and if you find it at a young age, that's great, but you might not find it until you're older.
Yeah, I mean it's believing in yourself and not letting outside distractions get the best of you. I mean, it's really easy to listen to what everyone else says, but if you do that, you forget what your goal is and and what you're trying to accomplish. So, just stick to your guns and it'll turn out well.
Obviously, kids here are like idolize you guys. Who did you have posters of on your wall when you were a kid?
Um, Muhammad Ali, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Dion, those are all mine.
He was hanging around the Super Bowl. You saw him.
Yeah, yeah. Oh, I wasn't going to tell him I had posters of him. Come on, you got to be professional. It'd be a little awkward, wouldn't it? It's like Dion, I'm your biggest fan. Oh. No, I'm not. Not me.
Big in history. She was, you know, the big skier when I was growing up and she signed an autograph for me when I was nine and actually was kind of the reason that inspired me to be want to be an Olympian. So, it was pretty special. You know, I was kind of on the the verge of, you know, do I want to continue on with this or is it just something for fun? And um, she was like the Queen of skiing and I wanted to be just like her. So I was like, I'm going to be in the Olympics just like her.
Greatest sporting moment of all time?
Uh, that's kind of hard for me. Um, you know, I'm just necessarily yeah, I was definitely the one we just had uh the Super Bowl. big time for us. Um, it's a lifetime dream and a lifetime accomplishment, something that worked really hard for as a team and as an individual and and you you don't really get much better than that. You don't get bigger than the Super Bowl or the Olympics.
Yeah, that was definitely for me the the highlight of my life and my career. I mean, my whole family sacrificed so much for me to get to that point and it was a really emotional, emotional day and one that I won't ever forget.
Okay, thank you so much. You're giving her your Super Bowl ring. Don't forget.
Yeah, I won't forget.
You want to trade medal for, you know,
Yeah, that's a fair exchange. You know, I I, you know, if I get the medal, I've always wanted an Olympic medal. So, you know, I might keep that one and and try to get the ring re-made or something.
