Champ just pushed Jordan Clarkson out the way. You see it, you see it? LA's finest, Lisa Leslie. We got Jordan Clarkson. He really needs no introduction. Young Hollywood. Last year, he was here, you was here on the red carpet. I was salty. I was I was still salty a little bit. We took a L. But what is it good though. Oh my god. That's boy, that's half the battle. If you looking good and even though you lost, you still win. I see you with your pin stripe. Who dressed you?

Jordan Clarkson

What is it? No stylist. I just made this all myself, you know. Uh I do my own thing.

Young Hollywood

Mine was supposed to be draped. What was yours supposed to be?

Jordan Clarkson

This is This is my line. I'm doing my own clothing line. It's called Prototype 81.

Young Hollywood

Hey hey! Hey hey! Hey hey! Back to, I didn't really recognize him because he had a shirt on. He's all Hollywood right now. No, not really. But I didn't recognize him because he had a suit on. And I tell you what, you looking good doing it. Man, they already giving you that TV money. You ain't He ain't even using his He ain't even using his game check. You know me, I like to say get your popcorn ready. If you if you had to name your give a name for your outfit today, what what would it be?

Jordan Clarkson

Don't sweat it. That you're Don't sweat it. Don't sweat it. Don't sweat it at all.

Young Hollywood

Tell the people what it's like to win an NBA Championship.

Jordan Clarkson

I finally got to touch that trophy and kiss that trophy, man. Like I I don't took taking pictures. I I didn't want to touch it yet. You know, you can't I feel like it's bad to just be touching on it and you ain't work for it yet.

Young Hollywood

What does this championship mean to you?

Guest

All the sacrifices you make as a child. Getting up at 6:00 and running outside, you know, nobody wants to run outside at 6:00, but making those sacrifices, uh, everything, just the whole journey. It looks like it paid off and you know, I'm I'm glad to be a champ. No words to describe it. But I know that my body's going to be hurting after the end of this month. You know, we still celebrating a little bit.

Young Hollywood

Was it the Finals that everybody expected? People expected a great Finals. You know, in some ways it wasn't cuz there were the lopsided wins was really baffling me, really. To be honest, you know, the 30-point margins both teams, it was like, what's going on? The Cavaliers won me over. LeBron stepped up so big. It was absolutely incredible, ending in a Game 7, close ball game. And if you wanted to know, I think he should win the Athlete of the Year. What is that feeling like walkin' this red carpet, you mind? Let the people, let Young Hollywood know.

Jordan Clarkson

I feel like we supposed to be walkin'. Feel like we supposed to be walkin'. We supposed to be stylin', profiling. That victory, that championship championship felt so good. There's nothing like it. It's tempting, huh? It's tempting. It's my first time and it could have been very easily been the last time I stepped on the court, which would have been a great story. I was okay with that story if that was how I ended. It's hot out here. Usually you're trying to get into the AC, but it's I'm allowed to sweat this year. So you taking a little extra time this year. You know, you taking a little This Usually I'll be sweating out here. I don't I ain't I'm cool out here, man. So you taking a little extra time. Being an NBA champion. You know, we got about five or six of our teammates here, we're just here to uh make sure LeBron wins his 19 awards and uh we're gonna be cool. But to be a part of bringing that to Cleveland. Felt so good to kiss that thing, man. Kiss kiss.

Young Hollywood

Obviously, we got to talk about Kobe. The greatest that I know that I've witnessed. What is that experience been been like playing with him and coach?

Byron Scott

I I knew Kobe was going to be a great player when we would sit down and talk when he was a rookie, cuz I saw that determination and that desire in his eyes. But I didn't imagine him being this. And and when I mean this, I mean an icon, uh a guy that's one of the greatest ever.

Young Hollywood

What was your experience like playing with definitely one of the top, one of the best in the game, Kobe Bryant.

Jordan Clarkson

The biggest thing I I get from Kobe, you know, through my years is his work ethic, his competitiveness. Uh, you know, some games he used to just rip us a new, hey, man. Definitely a tough competitor, tough player, but I he's a tough teacher too at the same time. Am I right?

Byron Scott

For sure, man. He was the best mentor I had. Um, you know, him and Steve Nash, my two years playing here in uh LA. And it it just kind of boggles my mind that I had a little bit to do with that when he was a rookie, of just, you know, practicing against him and and talking to him and now watching this. It it's it's unreal for me. But you know, it was a it was a great experience for me, especially it being his last year and seeing that.

Young Hollywood

You know, you had that dress code for players, yeah, dress code for me. Being here with all these stars, the red carpet, what is there any one event that you're looking forward to tonight?

Terrell Owens

I think overall, being around greatness is absolutely incredible. Even sitting here talking to a guy that people know should have been a first ballot Hall of Famer, but it gives me goosebumps. Young Hollywood, you heard it first. T. O. My guy, known him for years. One of the greatest of all time in any sport.

Young Hollywood

Kyrie had a great line, he said, the show can't start till the champs get here. What? Young Hollywood. Man, hey, it doesn't really get any better than that.
