What's up guys? Leslie Robbins here for Young Hollywood. It is the week of the ESPY's and we are celebrating the body issue of ESPN the Magazine, which basically means we're talking to athletes about getting naked. Okay, we're here celebrating nakedness. I I mean, but you guys came dressed. I'm a little bummed.
Yeah, you know what? I just feel like I don't wanna show too much and I don't want him to show too much of his body cuz girls are just gonna be walking up hump'n him all night long. So I told him like keep it locked up tonight.
So I interview you in Long Beach, we're in a pace car. Then a couple weeks later, you go and win the biggest race of the year. Congratulations.
Yeah, thank you. Um definitely if you had asked me if I would consider that as a possibility when when we were in the pace car in Long Beach, I I wouldn't have said so.
You get the call that says, "Be naked in the magazine." How does that go?
Well, I told my agent a long time ago, if she ever got not like the option to have me in the magazine, I wanted to do it. So when she called I like couldn't believe it. I'm like, "You're joking." And I I jumped at it immediately.
You're naked on a hot motorbike. I'm just concerned about burning your private area.
Uh I yes. Yeah, I mean, you're right. I mean, things can definitely go wrong pretty quick and go south pretty fast. But uh you know thankfully everything went good. We we kept it in control.
Okay, a lot of athletes have posed nude for this magazine. Your phone rings. You're saying yes, right?
If I got the phone call, I think it would be a yes. Yes, I'd be all for it.
Would you sit in a car naked or have you done that before?
Oh, the question. I I have done it before. I mean there wasn't a camera involved, but it was kind of one of those like dare things and you're like, "Oh, this will be a great idea."
Now listen, you've won lots of races. You're quite famous for driving your car. Would you ever get in the car naked and pose for the magazine?
I don't think we're allowed to. Because the car can catch fire, we have to we have to wear that that uh fireproof onesie.
No, no. Rossi over there told me he's driven in his car naked before.
Oh, really? I did not know that.
Would you like throw a pass or something naked?
I I have not done that naked, but um could make it happen. So I was the first to everything. Oh my God. Stuff would be flying, balls flying everywhere.
Have you ever fenced naked before?
No, of course not. This is the first time fencing naked and I probably wouldn't do it again. It wasn't very comfortable, so I wouldn't suggest it.
Is there anything covering up the goods? You know what I mean? How does it work?
No, you're 100% nude. Um and so they don't do any photo editing or anything like that. So what you see is what what there is.
Okay, so what is your best quality in this package? Physique, physical.
Um I don't know, Jess. I'll let her answer this question.
Um well, I love his back and he is a great hiney.
Thank you, guys.
Back and hiney. Yeah, I'm all about the booty and he's got an amazing one. All about that base. We got to you got to show the base now. I've I There we go. Dave, we talked about that. Okay, so tell me your best body part.
Um I'd like to think my eyes.
Oh yeah, man. That's a good one, brother.
Favorite body part, you know what? I like all of the definition. I work really hard on my body for my sport and how it carries me through my life. So I thought it was they were just beautifully done. Benedict Haber has did a great job.
I think my favorite part of my body is my back. Um because it's pretty ripped.
As a skier, my favorite body part on myself? I guess my legs. I mean it's like a it's a sport that involves legs and I think I have pretty strong legs because of it.
56 years old. You look 26 naked in a magazine. I love you. I love you. No, I love you. You're an inspiration, not just because you look stellar naked in a magazine. Rio. I mean anything more?
Um actually it's all just so exciting. I can't wait to go to Rio and the magazine coming out was something I never dreamed of. So it's all been really exciting and I look forward to see where everything goes from here.
What advice would you have for up and coming athletes that are in your that were in your shoes?
Uh keep going. I would say that for folks who are in my shoes, who are transgender, who are maybe uh coming up against some boundaries and barriers, just to continue to keep going. You can't let anybody stop you from participating in the sports that you love.
