What's going on? This is Paul Rodriguez. We're here at the USC Galen Center for the Street League Super Crown. What I'm doing today is basically just getting familiar with the course, all the nuances of the ramps and the rails and kind of formulate a plan, put the ideas in my head and just get comfortable. Hopefully, come back and execute. There's three main stops. Basically, between those first three stops, you have to fight for a position in the top eight because here in Super Crown, only eight people out of the 24 make it. So that to me, the hardest part. That's the grind right there, you know. You definitely want to make it to the last and final stop, especially now that it's in LA.

Personally, you know, to not be able to make it to a spot that's in your backyard would be devastating. So I'm just thankful to be here. To me Street League is in my mind, it's the only skate competition there is, because it's the only one that is strictly skateboarding, street skateboarding, one genre, our own spotlight. This is where the best of the best are, the best skateboarders in the world. To win the Super Crown would mean the world to me. I feel really grateful, you know. I've been doing this for a long time. I'm thankful to still be here, still be healthy, still have a lot of drive and passion for skateboarding.

The fact that I'm still able to, you know, stay somewhat in the mix with all these younger guys who are real hungry is a good feeling, man. That keeps me inspired. It keeps me wanting to push myself and keep progressing until I can't, you know? So that's that's something that I'm very thankful for.
