Fast cars, appropriate.

Yeah, I think there's a lot of parallels, but mostly I'm just here because it's awesome.

And awesome is you being the honorary flag waver person.

What title are we giving you today?

President of starting the race today.

We actually had an escort from the cops on motorcycles coming in here and we thought we were royalty.

Cops flashing, driving past everybody just kind of wavering.

I felt like I was royalty.

All right, well, royalty is having six Olympic medals, which is better?

Going fastest in the world or having medals?

Ah, I think the going fast.

I mean, anybody can you can go down to a pawn shop and buy some medals if you want them, but no, it's the experience and you know, I think these guys racing would race whether they were getting money for it or not.

They would love it, you know, it's just being able to drive that fast is a pleasure.

And when you're out there ripping around, tell me those feelings, tell me the words going through your head.

It was incredible.

I got to the bottom in Sochi in the training run, which is you know, you get no medal for the training run.

It's just a practice run.

It would be like qualifying for these guys.

And I came down and I had some um some four letter words just yelling and I said that was so fun to my wife who was right there.

I did it was just it was such a pleasure.

It's absolutely incredible.

Yeah, the the moment you had with your wife after your emotional interview was just beautiful.

She held you.

I was crying.

It was beautiful.

Yeah, thank you.

It was uh it was just an amazing outpouring of of support from a lot of people.

Um you know, I I laid a lot out there this year.

What does Bode Miller eat to fuel up?

Yeah, I cook a lot.

I mean, I'm sort of the cook in the family.

She doesn't really she she's more like the war, she wings it.

She's like a five out of a senior pants cook and so she hits like some every one out of every ten times, she makes something miraculous.

And the other nine times it's like you end up going out to dinner instead.

So, I'm more I'm I make sort of traditional stuff lasagna.

I make a lot of Mexican food enchiladas and and I I really like steak and chicken.

I'm a king crab.

I make a lot of sort of protein like the traditional protein.

Well, a pleasure is seeing you with your wife Morgan, professional volleyball player.

I love the two of you, the interaction, the energy, the passion is amazing.

I want to know your story.

How two greats came together and how it works.

Uh, you'd have to ask her.

She's that's part of being married is you have to allow your wife to embellish the story of how you met and how I wooed her and all the different parts to it, but

I want the wooing.

I want the wooing.

we really are, we're we're soulmates.

So it's uh, it was a very um, interesting and fun, exciting uh, courtship, I guess and very quick.

I mean, we've been, you know, we've been together two years now, but we've been married almost two years too.

So it was pretty it was pretty clear to me.

I think I'm the one who kind of runs the runs the show in terms of um, being committed to her and making things work, but she she's amazing.

She's uh, yeah, she's my partner.
