What do you think of your son? This is Wow. Okay, where did he get the name Beast Mode?

From being a runner like that.

Being from Oakland, having this be the official Beast Mode Day and the mayor coming out. What is that like for you as a mom?

It's such a blessing.

On behalf of the city of Oakland. Today is Beast Mode Day! I am here with Mr. Fab. You are Marshawn's first cousin?

Yes, it's crazy seeing this. I'm like, I'm stoked so pardon me.

What is it like seeing Oakland being named Beast Mode Day today?

I mean, to see where we come from to be counted out, never to be expected to see past 21 or 18. And to be opening up businesses in the city that we grew up in. This is wonderful right here.

What do you see for the future? Do you think he's going to keep expanding, like he's like a business mogul now?

I hope he opens up one in Seattle, and just have a Beast Mode store everywhere. He has so many fans.

Did you see him on Conan? Cause he's funny. I told him he should come to Hollywood. He should. That's, maybe that's his next career.

I think so. He can do anything.

Yeah. He's not done with this, but he could be an actor comedian. He's Right, absolutely. I do too. And how about, tell me about the work that you two do together.

Well, when we were younger, we would say if we ever made it to any position of influence, we would utilize our influence for the greater good of others. I'm a little bit older so my break came a little earlier than his and and I got the ball rolling. I we began to do um backpack giveaways every year where we give away thousands of backpacks to kids. Um turkey giveaways, toy giveaways. And he's always supported me even when he was in high school and college. Um and when, you know, when when his break came, I was right there on the front line passing out the turkeys that he that the Fam First Foundation gives out, gifts and so on and so forth. And uh we always play off of each other. So whatever event that he has going, I'm right behind him and and he's right behind me and we equally support each other. That's why we're here today and it's not about elves. That's my family. Let me get something free. It's about coming out buying and supporting it and and continuing to to blow up the business.
