You were on the cover of this last year, right?

I was. Yes.

How does that feel?

It was awesome actually. It was, you know, kind of surreal to be honest. Playing this since I was a little boy and then being on the cover of it and you know, still enjoy to play it.

Between college, fall and NFL, what's the biggest difference for you?

Um, I'd say the biggest difference is playing against guys in NFL, they've been perfecting their craft for so long that they're a lot smarter with it. Um they play quicker. It's not necessarily the speed of the game that everybody talks about. Everybody seems to talk about that. I think it's the knowledge of the game and when you understand what you're doing, you can play at a faster tempo and I believe that's why. I love playing the game of football. It's something that I'm so passionate about and I do miss it in the off season.

I can tell even when you talk about it. Yeah. What's been the highlight of your career so far? Was it the Heisman? Like what was what was the moment for you? I know your career is still young.

Honestly, if I had to pick something, I would say it's the relationships. Um, just from high school to college and now being in the NFL, the the special relationships you build with teammates, with coaches, uh with fans. I mean that's the coolest part of it. You know, being an athlete is more than just, you know, playing this that sport. It's about, you know, taking that platform and trying to do something positive with it.

We're going to give you the brand new football 2012. AC. NCAA football. Oh. Nice. kind of complicated, so it's complicated. You got the game in there. You got the whole deal. Sitting here with Bernard Barry and who I like you already because you brought me a hat.

I did bring her hat. For sure because you got to always got to know that someone's going to be around. You got to have a gift ready on hand.

But you told me I had to wear it to like a special way. You got to cock it to the side. So how am I doing?

You got the swag up.

I got my swag. So you play for Fresno State. What is the biggest difference you think playing like college ball versus NFL?

Uh the speed of the game, the intensity of the game, and just the mental toughness and fortitude that you got to bring from college to the NFL is a is a totally big, big, huge difference. And uh once you get past all the physical part, the the mental part is what really is going to make you or break you and that's how you get longevity in the game.

So what have you been doing in the off season and during the lockout and everything you staying in shape?

Uh yeah, actually I've been I've been enjoyed the beach. Uh Huntington Beach has been great to me. Newport has been great to me. Yes, sir. No, actually, we were supposed to do that today, but we kind of lost time.

How much do you love NCAA football?

I love this game. You can't you can't beat it. There's no way other way. No other football game I'd want to play.
