I know your grandfather played for the 49ers.

So, first of all, your thoughts on the game.

So, I know you grew up in the San Fran area.

Were you kinda rooting for the 49ers or were you impartial when you play for the Falcons?

Uh, it was kinda like a combination of the two.

Yeah.

After we lost, you know, I was like, you know, it was kinda bittersweet because I grew up a Niners fan.

But as soon as that game kicked off, I was like, let's go Ravens.

You gotta split.

One thing your team is known for, obviously the Dirty Bird.

Yeah.

But I wanted a little lesson in the Dirty Bird.

First thing you gotta get the, you gotta get the hop.

You can even do that with your cast on your hand.

All right, so first of all, the basis for all, most of my celebrations come from Martin Lawrence.

And he was famous for the little chicken dance.

I feel like I'm gonna get in trouble for that.

They're quick to fine us for most anything.

All right, and you're also known for, I know growing up your jumping ability?

Yeah.

The one year I did run track, I like set the California record for my age group for the high jump.

And then uh, what else?

Long jump.

I was pretty much known for my jumping ability.

We're gonna have a vertical leap off.

So, we tweeted out that we were gonna be interviewing you and there was, I mean, you have a lot of fans, obviously, but there was one fan in particular that kept tweeting and tweeting and tweeting.

He was kinda getting on our nerves at a certain point.

I'm a big fan.

My question for you is in 2008 you were drafted by the Falcons.

Who in that draft class with you, uh, has had the most influence on you?

Obviously, Matt Ryan, the quarterback for the Falcons, obviously.

Yeah, I mean, I would obviously, I'm gonna have to go with uh, William Moore.

No.

No, Matt, Matt has definitely helped me get better.

We've, I mean, we both came in together and we've really grown as uh, you know, counterparts on offense and defense, because you know, he's the quarterback of the offense and technically the safety is the quarterback of the defense.

So, we've definitely helped each other grow and get, get, get better throughout the course of our years here.

If you could ask him anything that you've never asked him before, what would it be?

I would say, Matt, who's the most dynamic safety you've ever gone against and why?

Yeah, Matt.

Who would that be?

Who, who?

I mean, I, I have someone in mind.

But I wanna hear it from you though.

So, I know you, you're like a shoe guy, it's sort of like apropos that we're here at the Holy Grail, because you are a shoe guy.

You own how many pairs of shoes?

Close to 700 pairs.

Now, what is it about shoes?

Because girls are all into shoes.

But what is it about shoes for you?

It was just the fact that I had big feet growing up and like my shoe size was my age, you know, until I was about 13 and a half, 14.

So, it was just going and buying a pair of shoes was more of an experience for me.

Okay.

So, let's just take a little stroll around and maybe you could sort of school me a little bit on shoes.

See, like all these in here, they're, they're in this case for a reason.
