You know me on the court, it's 6'5, NBA rising star. I'm here with Young Hollywood today, with stylist Ashley North, to show you a little bit of my off-court swag. This is Beyond the Athlete, Jordan Clarkson.

Currently, we're here at the Four Seasons with Young Hollywood and the beautiful stylist Ashley North.

My name is Ashley North and I'm a celebrity stylist.

We're here to do a little photoshoot, show you a little bit of my swag. I just picked out some good clothes.

So, a normal style session involves me, you know, I either talk to the client or meet with the client prior to the session, just to get a feel for, you know, what type of stuff they like. That's where the style session begins, and we basically kind of just walk through the different looks that I have pulled, and, you know, I might put together stuff. Normally, I like to let the client kind of look through the racks, pull out what, you know, catches their eye, and then we kind of go from there.

What do you think, like what's your everyday?

Like jeans. I got some, I know you said you like Saint Laurent, so I got you some Saint Laurent denim.

Right. These are actually my favorite jeans, too. Yeah. The denim, like the old school look. Yeah. Plain denim.

And then, what are you thinking with it? Like maybe we do like a cool like flannel shirt?

Everyday, right? Yeah. Kind of everyday look. Yeah. I'll probably go with something like this for sure.

And then like if you wanted to, we can like layer it, maybe do some pictures with a jacket over it and then like take the jacket off. Maybe even like the leather. Yeah. Yeah. The motorcycle. This, yeah. Okay, so we'll do that.

I like this old like biker jacket.

Yeah, it's like a Grease the Greaser jacket. You know? Today, there's gonna be three different looks. We're doing a suit look, and then we're gonna do a more casual daytime look and then a nighttime like going out look for Jordan. Um, I worked with Alba to create a custom suit for him. I was thinking for the press conference, maybe doing a suit. We got a custom suit made for you from Alba. This was kind of my favorite. Let me see this. I like the color. It's really great for fall. I think it'll look nice on your skin.

Yeah. No, this is just a little, you know, a little simple. Yeah. I like the color, though.

Well, okay, here's the thing. You might have to go a little time. Turtleneck. And then look at these sneakers, like so that kinda keeps it young and fun 'cause you're young, so we don't wanna go too like stiff with it. So I'm thinking like doing like maybe a T-shirt or a turtleneck underneath it and then like a sneaka-type shoe might kinda like liven it up.

Yeah, these are dope, so we'll pull this. Yeah. Let's, that's something fun. You know?

Hmm. Fun. No. No. It might be a little too much.

No, I like it. You like it? You wanna try it on?

Oh, well, we'll try both of those on. Okay. So these are our two suit options. I'll pull them out.

Kind of play I am on the court. I'm really aggressive. You know, knock down shots, look for my teammates, get out in transition, show a little flash on fast breaks, dunks. Um, you know, just have fun when I'm out there. Off the court, I'm just a laid back chill guy. Like to play video games, like to watch movies. I'm real heavy on Call of Duty, so y'all catch me on there.

Now, as a stylist, we definitely have our own sense of, you know, what we think is cool and like what we would like to dress a client in. But for me, I think it's important to, you know, look at a client's individual style and work with that. You know, what do they feel like defines them and what are their like key things that they like to have in a, in a outfit? I was thinking I got you this really nice jacket.

Oh wow. Alright, so see, I like this.

Yeah. And then I have like black denim that you could do underneath it. Look. This is like a, a New York. Yeah. Going out. Going out. Stay warm. Hanging out. But look cool. Getting a nice little dinner.

Dinner, right? Sky view. Beautiful outside. That's what this for, I like this.

You're feeling it. I think, I think this is it, right? Yeah. But we have green, black and then. Mmm. That's kinda fancy, too. There it is. Hmm. That's nice, too. With the little um, safety pin that's like kinda like a good, um. Yeah, I like that.

I'm a little colorblind, so you gonna tell me, this is black, right?

This is black. Yeah, let's go with. I know a lot of men are colorblind, so that's okay.

I like this right here. Okay. Do it all. That's nice, right? Yeah. Plain.

This will score you points with the ladies. The ladies will like this.

Hey man. I'll do what I do, all right?

And then a black denim, I think we do with that. Cool. Yeah, that's not bad. Yeah. You like that? Feel good?

Yeah, we might have to. These on. Oh, man.

You'll wear those 'cause those are a little bit out of the box. Not every man will rock those, I like them.

I like these boots. Okay. Then let's try those with it. This is a definite score. Okay, cool. Nobody throwing these on.

No, not everyone will do that.

I'm in it, though. Okay, good.

The whole experience today with Ashley was great. You know, she picked out some nice pieces from some great designers. Some modern stuff, some off the wall stuff. You know, I kinda wanted to be everywhere in terms of, uh, what I was wearing. I think she's definitely one of the best, best to do it, so definitely gotta work with her again.
