Yo, what's up? This is Lamar Willie. We're Young Hollywood here at the Dwyane Wade All-Star Luncheon. I'll be interviewing the man himself in just a minute. You know, being that y'all have such an All-Star team, um, with the Heat, you know, week in and week out, a lot of people don't know and the fans don't know that every week everybody come play their best against y'all. You know, what's that attitude going into the game each and every week knowing that you got to bring your best out because everybody's trying to beat y'all?

Yeah, man, you know, it's it's not easy, you know, we don't we're not we're never a team that we'll get overlooked, you know, at all. We get every team's best shot. And um, you know, in a sense and a fair it's competitive, that's the way you want it. But, you know, certain nights where a team going to going to have your number, they're going to get you, you know, in the sense. So, we've had a few of those games this year where we've lost a few that we would love to get back. Um, but that happens every year. So our job, man, I think we do a good job of coming out being true professionals and trying to make sure that we stay as consistent as possible and play our game.

Well, I know you're always on the road. You know, what do you do to eat fresh on the road?

Oh, man, it's tough. You know, it's very tough, but you you try to go on the road and pick the best restaurants in the city. And um, you know, you try to stay close to what your diet is at home as much as possible.

So what do you do, you know, 'cause there's Subway on every corner. You know, when you go into Subway, what kind of sandwich do you get?

Uh, I love Subway and um, you know, especially in the summertime, you know, when you travel a lot, Subway is kind of one of those places you always go. Now me personally, man, I'm um, I'm a picky eater. I don't eat a lot of things. So, you know, I stick to the script. I make sure that I get ham and turkey on my at the same time on 12-inch wheat, all that kind of stuff. But, um, but I do I do love it because it is a place that, you know, is very consistent.

All right, and I see you got the Dwyane Wade All-Star helping kids like, I mean, All-Star, who would inspire you to, you know, do your foundation and do events and uh, and in different cities during All-Star weekend?

Uh, well, first, I was just inspired by, you know, my upbringing to to always give back to the community, you know. I knew that my family got so much help when when we were younger and I wanted to do something if I got the opportunity. So, you know, bringing it here to All-Star weekend, uh, was something that I felt was was a great platform. And we come here in a in a lot of communities, a lot of cities and we enjoy ourselves. We go out, we party, we do all these things. Um, but I felt like, you know, we need to make sure that we leave an impact on the community. Um, and I I think we've been able to do that the last few years.

All right. If there's a three-on-three basketball game, who would be on your team and who would you be against?

Um, who would be on my team?

Who would be on your team?

Um, Jordan and LeBron, play against Magic, Kobe, and Mello.

There you go. Who who your dresser, man? How you get this style or you get your style from a little bit?

I mean, I have a great team. You see, it's it's the whole team thing. But, you know, right now, you know, obviously a lot of my suits is, you know, a lot of them are custom. Um, you know, today I have on this I found this guy, um, you know, in uh from London. Um, his name is Savage and he does amazing things and I love the way that he, you know, his clothes fit me. So, I'm rocking him today, you know, something a little different, but, you know, keeping it classy, keeping it clean, just added a little bells and whistles to it.
