The treatment for this music video is the idea of these two kids riding around the town uh kind of just not feeling like they fit in or not really sure.

You're you're watching the video and you're not sure where they belong in the world, but then as you see them go on, they turn out to be much more aware and much smarter than you may give them credit for, that you're just gonna have to watch the video and find out what all happens at the end. So we're here on the set of our music video for Believer. And behind us is the scene where we are gonna be playing through the song a few times. Um, hopefully I won't mess it up. We're super excited. I'm just kidding. Cool. So, follow us back here. Hey. As you can see, there's still setting up everything in here. But, uh, we are kind of just in this dilapidated warehouse shack kind of thing.

It's kind of cool. It sets like the whole mood for the video, the creation of this, you know, time machine. It's got a bunch of cool stuff around. I don't know. I think, you know, the biggest thing for us, when, you know, we told ourselves just to keep writing and keep writing, which was some of the best advice we ever got. And I think it's just kind of doing what you love and not being afraid to take risks. And, you know, with Believer and with Best Day of My Life and and a lot of our songs, uh we were never afraid to try new things. The writing process for American Authors works in this way. Everybody is a different piece of the puzzle. We all come from different majors at school.

So, it's everybody bringing their own strong points to make the songs. Collaborative is the key to American Authors. Without it, it wouldn't be what it is. From us. Sometimes you have these magical moments with songs where you sometimes people write down lyrics, say, I wanna put this to a song, I wanna put this to a song. But I think a really special thing is when you have this like just this space, you just kinda like pull that just you just start speaking or singing or playing and you just pull out ideas. It's not about just this is what's in me and now here it is. Yeah. I'm just a believer that things will get better. Some can take it or leave it, but I don't want to let it go.
