Hey, how are you?

I'm amazing. Good. So we are in her lovely green room for Westville Century City's Live at the Atrium. I'm very, very excited.

I mean, this is a really cool event. One, I mean, wanted to seven Kiss FM is like the best host for this. So I'm really excited about that. Um and it's also the holidays. I feel like everyone's just in a really good mood. And so, um and I think it'll be fun. I think the energy will be great and there's already people out there who just seem really excited. So I'm I'm nervous and excited and overwhelmed and just pumped and everything in between.

Your outfit? You are slaying. You're trying to She's trying to come for all of our edges right now. She really is. You're trying to drag us with this look. It's so cute.

We always have like a good time like finding out like what it is that like I I love and I'm drawn to and I feel most comfortable in but it's always like finding those things also that it make me feel like I'm stepping outside of the box a little bit and I've never worn anything like this before on stage so I'm very. Can you guys please peep the the fishnets?

Nelson speaking of fashion, what is like one fashion trend that you must have right now that you're like obsessed with?

Probably fishnets. It's just like that's like I feel like it's in everybody's like day-to-day wardrobe. I mean you can wear it at any time of the day too, which I think is really amazing. You can wear it, you know, out to a lunch or even like out at dinner on a night out in town, you know.

Tell us on this new movie you have with Ross Lynch. Tell us about that.

We uh filmed that movie, gosh, I now it's been a little over I think a year now. Um I know. It's the movie world is insane. Like we'll film a movie and then like years later it'll come out and we'll be like, oh right, we did that together. Yeah. Um but it was so much fun. We filmed it up in Canada, which was really exciting. uh just to kind of be away and in a different unfamiliar environment and I love Canada. It was great.

Considering the fact that we are backstage in your green room right before your show, is there any like rituals, any type of music you listen to to kind of get you ready to kill a show?

I definitely spend a lot of time with my band right before the show just to kind of get the energy there. And we'll um we'll listen to so many TBTs, it's unreal.

So many what?

Oh, throwback Thursday. Yeah. I was like, excuse me. What are you saying? You're like, what? Who is that band? What's like your favorite app right now that you're like obsessed with?

It's probably always going to be Instagram only because I've just I love I love the gram. Yeah, I love the gram. Like there's so many different. I was like trying to think of like one thing that I love about it but it's just it's amazing. No, it's really great. Like I I love photography and I also like love like looking at certain people's feed and and how they change it up all the time.

like like one person you're like, yo, their feed is so lit.

That's such a hard question cuz there's such a yeah.

Thank you. I feel like this song in particular just it kind of struck at the most perfect timing in my life, you know. I feel like I've been in this really amazing transformation just not not just as an artist, but as an individual and as a human and in my life and Yeah, and it sounds so like honestly cheesy and cliche but I feel like I'm living my best life right now. Like I feel like I'm just I'm making decisions for myself, whether that be for, you know, my career or personally and I'm just doing them because, you know, life is too short. So.
