Nikki Novak here for Young Hollywood outside the new Last Kings flagship store. I got one word. Tyga. All right, another word, swag. Another word gold. Another word, he gave me this hat. I'm here with Tyga. Congratulations on the Last King store, the flagship store.
Thank you. Yeah, it's the first one, so.
Okay. Many more to go. Are there? How many do you have planned for?
I mean, as many as uh, we can do, you know.
You're going to take us on a little mini tour. I want to know what like the freshest styles are right now.
T-shirts for guys, you know, t-shirts, the hats. It's like, that's what we wear all day. So I'm gonna take you around and we'll look at some other stuff.
Okay. What are like some of the freshest accessories right now?
Um, I mean, I I would say watches, you know what I'm saying? The Rolex watch right now is classic.
Oh, hello. You know, you don't need to. I'm gonna suck up to you so I can try that on.
You know, it's just like, it's just something about it, it's just classy, you know, and, of course, like the Cuban link chains and all the other Goddy stuff, you know. We're going real like just black, dark colors cause I feel like, um, you know, that's what fashion is going. It's it's it's fashion is going a little more mature right now and Well, we're still like incorporating like some of the Egyptian stuff in here, you know. And but it's still like LA. You know what I'm saying? Well, like LA meets Egypt. I love this. Right, you know, so. And a lot of the streetwear stuff, the whole streetwear stuff, a lot of it is inspired by LA. If you look at Fairfax and you look at all those brands that started, you years ago too, you know, it's all LA street skate style. So we're taking it like you said, a little more luxury overseas, fit, you know.
Obviously your empire keeps building and building. Is this something that you dreamed about? Is this something that you envision when you were younger or is this a nice surprise that you just keep building on on your success?
Um, I never really thought about clothes like when I was younger. I just knew I wanted to be like a rapper and like have videos and stuff, like when I used to watch Jay-Z, Eminem, Tupac and all them dudes. I'm like, how can I shoot a video? It just sent It seems so impossible to do. Whenever a artist did a brand, it just made me gravitate to it so much more cause I believed it, like the lifestyle, like I wanted to be like that person. So that's something that we really wanted to build with Last Kings, you know.
What do you like in the board room?
Oh, man, it's crazy in there, you know. Uh, it's a lot of yelling, you know, a lot of throwing stuff and you know, but you know, just everybody, we're just passionate about what we're doing and and you gotta be if you're really going to take it to the next level.
Is there anything in your life that has been worth waiting for?
Yeah, man, just just the right moments for things, you know, whatever it is. Like, right now opening the store, it's just all about the moment, you know, I got a son now and, you know, right waiting for the right moment, the right person, you know.
Is there anybody who you're a fan of that you found out was mutually a fan of you as well, that's really surprised you?
I mean, I think it's like that's like all artists, you know, you meet cause it's like, you know, you have this a perception of them, but then once you meet the person and you really like chill and vibe with him, you realize like, dang, they're just like me, super cool, you know.
Thank you so much for chatting with us. Congratulations on the store.
