Oh hi, Nikki Novak here for Young Hollywood at Jada Paul's prom dress giveaway. We're here to talk to today's prom king and queen, Jada and Chris Paul. So I'm here with Jada Paul. Congratulations on this event.

Thanks. This is so great. It's going to be so much fun. The girls will have a good time.

So it's a prom dress giveaway. I'm happy because I love prom dresses because they're so fun. Like look at them. What is this? This is crazy. I want that dress.

Yes, the girls have got some good options, so I'm hoping they all find something today.

You're giving away 120 dresses.

We have needy girls that come in. Um we go through different organizations to pinpoint the girls. They're four for each girl, so they have options and it'll be fun.

And did you go to your prom?

I did. I went to prom. I went 10th, 11th and 12th grade. I was on prom court. As a junior, I was prom princess. So I was on prom court so they nominate you.

So you were prom princess?

And I was prom queen my senior year.

You have a lot of experience with it.

I do. I do.

He didn't take you to your prom?

He think you're younger than me. Okay. So. Oh. Yes, it's totally uncool to go to the prom with somebody younger than you, so.

So at that time you're like, I'm not going with you. I'll marry you someday down.

Right, right, right. But we didn't start dating until college.

So how did you meet?

In college. I was home for Christmas break. He went to school in our hometown. So I was home for Christmas break and we ran into each other at a basketball game, no less. And nine years later, here we are.

He chased you, of course.

Of course he did. He was younger. He was like, I want to get that. Exactly. See, he wanted me in high school. But he won't tell anybody that.

Here with Chris and Jada. So we talked earlier and you told me that you were prom princess. And that prom queen. And prom queen. And that Chris wanted you in high school, but when he won't admit it. Is that true?

That is very untrue. Um, I was prom I was prom king myself, by the way.

Really?

I was.

That famous quote that LeBron James said about your husband, that he has eyes in the back of his head. That he sees everything on the court. Off the court is he does he notice everything or can you come home with a new hairstyle and he's like,

Well, it depends. He notices things like that, but he sucks at looking for stuff. If he's, oh, I can't find my cellphone, it could be sitting right here and he wouldn't find it. Like so it's different. He's got, I always talk about court vision. You got to have court vision. But he sucks at looking for stuff.

If you notice dresses, if you notice she changes anything about her hair or makeup, I notice everything.

What is your sort of favorite thing to do in LA? Some of your favorite places to hit?

Home. When he gets a day off, it's very rare. So we kind of spend quiet days at home.

I'm I'm usually at practice at the gym and if I'm not at gym, I'm at home with uh little Chris and our and our baby girl just cuz you know, during the season we're so busy and um, you know, this summer though, I'm I'm going to be everywhere.

Where are you going to be? Where are you going to hit?

We took we took the little guy to Santa Monica Pier maybe like three weeks ago and rode the rides and and played all the games. But uh, you know, one place that I haven't been since I've been here in LA has been Venice Beach.

We interviewed Blake Griffin and I did my vertical leap for him, but for you I'm going to do my Blake Griffin face. Okay. How's that?

Pretty good.

Speaking of him, cuz you know he's a Subway famous fan. He made a sandwich for me. If he was going to make a sandwich for each of you, what would you get on it?

I'm super simple. Ham, cheese, you know, mayo, mustard, lettuce, good to go.

I'd take everything she just got, just minus the cheese. I don't eat cheese.

You're pretty you're pretty low maintenance, both of you.

Very low maintenance.

So I know Jasmine V's performing. She's doing a special performance today. I'm super excited. Are you a fan?

I am. I am. Absolutely. If you could meet anybody, who would it be? Don't laugh. But I'm obsessed with Justin Timberlake. And I have been obsessed with him since I was a teenager. And he's the one person that I haven't met, that if I met I probably would lose all of my cool. Really? My husband wouldn't be.

What is it about him?

I don't know. It's just like he just has it all. He's just a total package.

Biggest prom do and biggest prom don't.

Biggest don't is do not sit down. Like you have to stand up and enjoy it. It's an experience that you'll remember forever. So just make the best night out of it. Prom do's is take pictures. A lot of people don't take prom pictures and like they're priceless. Again, you look back like the backdrops are so cheesy. Yes. But you look at the pictures and they're, you know, you get a laugh out of them.

Wait, we should do that prom that cheesy prom photo that everybody does. Yes. Ready?

Prom is really all about the woman, about the girl and that's why this event is so so special. And that it's one of the highlights of your high school career. I think I think I had a lot of fun. Make sure you go to the prom with a crew. You know what I mean? With like four or five other people and their dates cuz uh, just driving by yourself is pretty pretty lame and pretty boring. And uh, just don't don't match your date too much. Like don't match. Don't make it look like you're going to a wedding.

Which is what will come back to haunt you, right? Oh, it's terrible. Admit that you wanted her in high school. Come on. All right. He did it. She got to be with. Thank you so much for chatting with us.
