Young Hollywood

Hey guys, Tracy here at Young Hollywood. So over the last few weeks, we have had so much fun participating in H&M's eco-friendly garment recycling program, which is a great cause to help build a more sustainable environment. Why should you recycle your clothes? Well, Americans spend billions of dollars on clothing every year, and we're constantly trying to make space in our closets to fit new purchases or the latest fashion trends of the season. What happens when it's time to get rid of old clothes that you're never going to wear anymore? If you choose to toss them in the trash, all that waste just ends up on landfills, causing more and more pollution in the environment. If you alternatively choose to recycle these old clothes, they can be given a new life by being made into brand new items. Now that spring is finally here, I did a full spring cleaning and personally did not want my fashion to go to waste. I took a huge bag of my old clothes to be recycled at the H&M store on Sunset Boulevard, and in return, H&M gave me 15% off one item, which I was super excited about. And now I'm sitting here in my brand new outfit that I bought with my voucher. Not only did I clean out my closet, but a ton of celebrities wanted to give back to this amazing cause as well. We were so thrilled and grateful that so many of them personally gave Young Hollywood an old clothing item of theirs that they wanted us to recycle. We're going to put all the celebrity items in this H&M bag right over here, and then I'll take the bag back over to the H&M store so they can recycle everything. Fallen Goodson gave us two adorable dresses. Love this. And this. And she gave us a adorable for a vest. I'm not going to wear it again because it's in a movie. Yeah, you can't do that. But thank you Forever 21, we're giving it to H&M. Manu Bennett gave us this awesome t-shirt of his. Thank you, Manu. Jesse McCartney gave us some awesome white pants. So I got, I brought some James Purse. Nice. So we have this fantastic great toss that in. Okay. We had Becca Tobin from Glee. I think I have like an a slight addiction and obsession with them. This one kind of shrunk and I doesn't look that cute on me anymore. Jacob Artist gave us one of his white t-shirts. Here we go. Here we go. Here we go. Thank you. We got Victoria Justice at her birthday party. She gave us this adorable tank top. And another tank top. Super cute. Oh, and this item was from one of my favorite guests that we had. You know him as one of the stars of iCarly, Reed Alexander. You have to check this out. And I want to thank you, cuz I know you brought something in for us today.

Reed Alexander

Oh, I'm so thrilled. You have such a great cause here.

Young Hollywood

Yes. H&M has their recycle program where we're asking people to give clothing that they don't no longer want.

Reed Alexander

Fantastic. It's great. And they recycle, make it into textiles and it's fantastic for the environment. Well, this is one of my favorite. My favorite color. It's kind of fun because you can put it on on its own, does great with a jacket. Trust me, I have experience on this run.

Young Hollywood

So is this what you're biking in in the mornings?

Reed Alexander

Totally. But this is one of my favorites. It's super comfortable, it's lightweight. I'm down from South Florida, that's my hometown, so even in the warm weather you can stay comfortable in something like this.

Young Hollywood

But you're ready to part with it?

Reed Alexander

Absolutely. It's for a good cause and I'm wishing it well, letting it set sail into the sunset with Young Hollywood.

Young Hollywood

We're going to put it in the H&M recycle bag. We're going to put it in the H&M recycle bag. All right. So I'll fold it up as best as we possibly can. Thank you so much to all the celebrities who chose to participate and not let their fashion go to waste. All right, so now it is time to take our celebrity bag full of all these clothes back to the H&M store on Sunset to get recycled. Let's go. I'm so excited to be back here at H&M on Sunset. I am in my new outfit that I bought with my voucher, and I am about to donate the celebrity bag. Let's go.
