Good to be here. You know, see my mom runs my foundation with me, so we always love giving back and especially in our in Detroit, you know what I'm saying in our city. So it's cool to come here and just get Yeah, do the same thing.

Yeah. Well, I'm excited to be here. Sounds like a great event. We're here for Christmas spirit, Sean. Tell me, what what kind of gets you in the Christmas mood? You know, like for me it's like Home Alone and making cookies. Yeah. What gets you in the Christmas spirit?

Taking a break for like a day. Just one day. Yeah, taking that Christmas even day break. And just kicking it with the family. I know I'm usually there at home. Last year she came out here for the first time. So I don't know. I might have to go back to Detroit. I don't know if I'm going to go back for Christmas, but we were just there for Thanksgiving.

How do you feel about that? Do you want him back home? Second guest: I do. Of course, I want him back home.

Yeah. I'm always I'm always home, but I'm just wondering if we're going to go be there for Christmas. I probably will be though, like always.

I like the Christmas song that goes, "Down to the horse. Santa, nah, nah, nah." Every time I I don't know the word, yeah, yeah. But that melody, right? I think that's Home Alone 2, right? That's in Home Alone, but that's not Home Alone.

Eggnog or hot cocoa?

Hmm, I like eggnog. But you I only drink eggnog on the holidays. Is it definitely cuz, man, I don't know. It's just for that mood, right? Yeah, it's a little too much. I don't know why. It's just strictly for the holidays. Feel me? Other than that, I'm hot cocoa all day.

Oh, I like eggnog. Eggnog? It's a little more fire. Like you're one of the main artists that does give back. Why is that important to you?

Cuz they gave me so much, you know? Not just and that's why I wanted to do this here too. And not just always do stuff in my city cuz I get, you know, love out here too. I get love a lot of places. So I try and give back as much as I can because they gave me so much. Feel me? They they support them songs, them tickets, them you know, them records. And just send love. I I believe in energy. I believe you can send happiness and energy through just vibes, through prayer, through a lot of things. And I feel like I'm able to get that. So I like to give back as much as I can.

I feel like your music is very inspirational. A lot of people don't speak about like coming up like you do. Why is that important to you talking about like inspiring kids and people like that?

This is what inspires me, you know? That's my story. I try and share as much as I can and, you know, that's all sorts of concepts I do, all sorts of stories and different things. But I always just try to get across that story of, you know, the coming up. You know what it's like to come out of a city. I mean if you really analyze it, Eminem was really the only rapper that like blew up around the world, you know what I mean, from Detroit. So it's just a it's always what I wanted to do. It was always a dream and it's just an honor to be here. So I put that in my music. I put that gratitude in there and just go hard as I can, you know?

With the holidays comes a new year, right? Yeah. So what do you have planned for 2017? What kind of goals do you have set?

I don't like to share my goals, even though I believe in you got to keep them goals like I definitely have them written out, you know what I'm saying? I have a list and I definitely take time to myself every day and go over it, you know what I'm saying? Execute it. But that's my whole that's been my whole life, is setting a plan out and executing it. You know what I'm saying? That's what that's what you got to do in this world. So.
