Hey Young Hollywood, it's Michelle Humble. What happens after American Idol is finished? Well, we're gonna talk to the top 10 finalists as they get ready to go on tour. I'm here with Adam and Megan and you guys are about to embark on a whole new journey. What's one word that comes to mind?

Amazing.

Crazy.

I think we're both pretty excited.

It's gonna be fun.

Yeah, it'll be something new.

I feel very happy actually. I just wanna go out there and make great music and entertain people. It's a dream.

Anxious to get it started.

Fans.

Excitement.

I'm very excited to go out on tour.

You can you can add your own word. Um, fun. How was it been in rehearsals so far?

Just finishing touches, just polishing it all up. After watching a couple weeks of it, it's been really uh getting a lot better, so I'm excited.

We worked um with a choreographer named Jacquelle and he was he was the guy that choreographed the the single ladies dance though.

Oh, really? So, you guys are gonna be wearing some leotards?

Both Matt and I will be wearing leotards and heard it here first on Young Hollywood.

Is there any one particular comment or judge that you took to heart and have kind of used to move forward?

He went Simon said, um, I wasn't the best singer on the show but it was obvious that when I got on stage, I gave 110%.

I like Paula, she would always look at us from a heart level and say what people probably felt. Simon would always look at us on an intellectual level and would make us want to fight with him every show. Come backstage, stay on with me backstage. I love Simon. Simon's like my favorite judge.

I think Cara. Yeah. for for me because she she was a great addition to the show this year and she brings a judging perspective that not only is is relevant to the show but you know, who you are after the show.

It would probably be uh uh Paula. She always said, you know, you look beautiful and you sound beautiful, you know, but never forget who you are as an artist.

What inspires you each morning to get up and be a better person?

Funny, yesterday. It was I I had a call time and I and my phone rang.

What song?

It was Danny Gokie. He said, hurry up, you're late. That's my inspiration to get up.

Mine was Adam this morning. Yeah. Adam called me this morning. Chris, you're 15 minutes late. Get out of bed. That's our inspiration.

You have you have good friends.

Doing what you love and and being praised for it and doing it successfully.

My family, my wife and kids. They are absolutely everything in my world and when I every step that I take every morning that I get up, it's about them.

I think purpose. You know, what's my purpose in life? Is when you experience things that but you don't wanna go through. Instead of letting this situation define me for the rest of my life, I let it become a defining moment. This is what gives me a focus for the future, my foundation, my wife.

What do you personally like to do before you get on stage and perform?

Uh I like to stretch a little bit.

What stretch should I do?

Uh some ballet and like good, if you really feel like.

The flamingo.

Just dance parties, put on a little music and dance before a show.

Um, I've been known to drop it.
