What Car Will Demi Lovato Drive?

Hey Young Hollywood, I'm Demi Lovato. Here at the City of Hope event.

You have a new show coming out with Disney, right?

Yes.

Now, can you tell me a little bit about your character?

Yes, my my character's name is Sunny and she goes to Hollywood and her family just moved out there. So kind of like my family did for my dream. Um but yeah, I'm really excited. It's kind of like a 30 rock but for kids.

Do you think that you got to pull a lot of like your own self into this character?

I think so. It's me times five in the quirky aspect. She's like from Wisconsin and you know, I'm from Texas and it's kind of like we come to Hollywood and we still kind of stick out like a sore thumb. Sometimes we do really embarrassing things.

City of Hope. Is there something different that you feel when you're doing something for a good cause versus just performing for your fans?

Like I guess neither of them feel like work. You know, but when you when you know that you're doing something for like the the sole purpose of goodness, you feel like you're volunteering and like, I don't know, there's just like a feeling afterwards like, wow, that was so good.

You have anyone here, family, friends supporting you tonight?

Yes, I have my whole family here. My mom, dad, little sister, older sister, we're all here. Like they're they're here to share me on.

What was the best part about turning 16?

I was kind of more focused on the album. I guess my favorite part was like the surprise of it, you know, there was because I wasn't expecting it. It was just like, I don't know, I was like surprised when it came. I was like, oh yeah, I'm 16.

Did you get a new car?

Oh no, actually, I have not even taken my driver's ed class because well, I've been a little busy. But um, I know what I want to get and it's I'm so excited.

Is it going to be environmentally friendly?

Yes, I said in an interview a long time ago that I wouldn't drive a car unless it was a hybrid. So my parents laughs and like, let's get for Mercedes. And they're like, yeah, those aren't hybrid. I'm like, Oh,
