When hot Hollywood moms name their brood, most want them to stand out!

"Celebrities and entertainers are by nature attention seekers and these names draw attention both to them and their children," says Linda Rosenkrantz, who co-wrote the Baby Name Bible and runs NameBerry.com.

She tells me: "Few regular parents pick up on these names, except for a few that have caught on, like Maddox and Harlow."

Right now she says nicknames and boy's names for girls are growing trends. Heidi Klum and hubby Seal incorporated both, naming their baby girl Lou, which "Has always been used as a short name for Louise and Louella," Linda explains. "It has rarely been heard as a full first name for a girl."

"The nickname trend was seen more recently with Charlie Sheen's twins Max and Bob" instead of the more formal Maxwell and Robert," she adds.

Another trend is "green or nature names," she says. "Skye, River; flower names like Violet, Lily, Poppy; bird names Sparrow, and Birdie."

The upside is that "People will remember your name; you'll be the only Beyonce in your class," she says.

Girls: Emma, Isabella, Emily, Madison, and Ava

Boys: Jacob, Michael, Ethan, Joshua, and Daniel.

When coming up with your baby's name, "I would advise people to look instead for a name that's unusual, distinctive but still a real name with tradition," Linda advises. "There's probably one lurking in your own family tree."
