Selena Gomez

It's been almost a year since Disney cutie Selena Gomez and her band The Scene dropped their first album, Kiss & Tell. It later went Gold, and the single "Naturally" went Platinum.

Star of the Emmy-winning Disney Channel show, "Wizards of Waverly Place," Selena spent a better part of the year focusing on acting, getting her first major movie role in the family flick Ramona & Beezus. She'll be starring in the upcoming teen adventure, Monte Carlo, alongside CW stars Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy, and "Glee" hunk, Cory Monteith.

Selena just returned to the set of "Wizards" where filming on the fourth and final season recently began. A sequel to the successful Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie is also in the works and likely to be released sometime next year.

Somewhere in-between all this, she managed to record her sophomore album, A Year Without Rain, and release the music video for the single "Round and Round" earlier this summer.

Selena tweeted several previews for the video to the second single, title track, "A Year Without Rain," which debuted Friday (September 3) during the premiere of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam on Disney Channel. Showcasing a more mature Gomez, the video has her singing and dancing around the lyric-appropriate desert landscape. Check it out below!

The single will be up for purchase on iTunes on September 7 and you can grab the new Selena Gomez & The Scene album, A Year Without Rain, when it drops September 21!
