The Vicious Kind: Small Movie, Big Delivery

Once in awhile you catch an independent film with a look and feel that completely engrosses you from beginning to end. The Vicious Kind from writer/director Lee Toland Krieger works with the freedom you want in an indie and, with the support of a fantastic cast, he delivers a story with a range of emotions. We recently sat down with costars Adam Scott and Alex Frost over delicious pizza from Oak Fire Pizzeria & Pub. Hungry? Check out Oak Fire. Hungry for a winning story? Check out the film. Regardless, watch the fun interview we had with the costars HERE.

The jokesters play brothers in the film; Alex who is falling in love with his girlfriend (played by the ever lovely Brittany Snow) and Adam a brother who has become disturbingly cautious of love. The Independent Spirit Awards have deservedly extended a best screenplay nomination for Krieger's work and a best male lead nomination to Adam Scott. Hopefully, the notoriety puts the film on the radar for a larger audience and attracts the number of eyes that should rightfully be exposed to this darkly funny, tragic yet redemptive piece of cinema.
