The jokesters play brothers in the film; Alex who is falling in love with his girlfriend (played by the ever lovely Brittany Snow) and Adam a brother who has become disturbingly cautious of love. The Independent Spirit Awards have deservedly extended a best screenplay nomination for Krieger's work and a best male lead nomination to Adam Scott. Hopefully, the notoriety puts the film on the radar for a larger audience and attracts the number of eyes that should rightfully be exposed to this darkly funny, tragic yet redemptive piece of cinema.
