The Duff sisters, or The Duffsters as I affectionately call them, were born and raised in Texas.

Yes, I enjoy making up nicknames for people. I like to think it's cute and clever.

After finding success locally at a very young age, The Duffsters made the big move to California to make their mark; though their father stayed behind in Houston to run the family business. Though success took time, the years of sacrifice clearly paid off.

Hilary is known the world over as Lizzy McGuire, earning her a spot in the popular culture of a generation. She's sold millions of albums, starred in big screen hits and spawned her own empire with a clothing line and signature scents. Raking in over $12 mil a year, she ranked at no. 7 on the Forbes list of Top Earners Under 25. She just turned 20 in September, so something tells me she could very well top that list before she's out of the bracket.

Haylie's also worked her way to her own star status, guesting on Disney shows (including Lizzy) and moving on to a regular on 7th Heaven. She stepped out of the box with Napoleon Dynamite, which earned her indie creds for life. Haylie's had a lot to do with her little sister's success as well, writing many of the songs on the albums. Now she's producing her own show, The Search for the Next Elle Woods, which she also hosts.

Both girls have a ton of projects coming up, including Stay Cool for Hilary, TV and movie projects for Haylie, while both will lend their voice to the upcoming animated feature Foodfight!
