Whether you believe it or not, there are many people who remain convinced they have seen and/or spoken with the dead. Skepticism or doubts on the behalf of others is irrelevant. To them, the experience is absolutely real. I love a good ghost story. Don't you?

I swear there's nothing better than dialing down the dimmers and watching something good and scary on the tube. Yes, all my lights are on dimmers. It's elegant and classy. Like me! Ok not really. But my lights are all on dimmers

A&E has been rocking my block with their relentless ghost hunting series and psychic encounter shows. I freaking love that network! This past Thanksgiving I watched a marathon of Ghost Hunters that blew my mind. Best Thanksgiving ever.

I thought nothing could top that, but perhaps I should stop thinking things. That's because they came up with something even more awesome than Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters with kids.

Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal will make you believe. It's the most awesome show ever! Trust me on this, I know things. And I see dead people. Ok not really. But I do like this show.

The main reason I'm so into it has nothing to do with ghosts or paranormal activity. It's Dr. Lisa Miller, a renowned psychologist and Columbia University professor. Her role is to evaluate the children to make sure they do not suffer from any type of disorder. She grounds the whole series. It's absolutely captivating.

Each hour-long episode spotlights three different kids who have various perceptions, from seeing the dead to seeing the future. With the help of Dr. Lisa and Medium Chip Coffey, the kids learn how to deal. It's really an experience in every episode! I'm hooked.
