Why we love him: He holds a mirror to society and reveals its guilty secrets, all while being hysterically funny and politically incorrect. Why we hate him: Sacha came a privileged background. He attended the best schools, including Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School, a private school in Elstree and Christ's College, Cambridge, where he studied history. He is currently engaged to mega hottie/actress, Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers). Best known for his infamous character, Ali G, Sacha Baron Cohen earned a reputation for interviewing celebrities under the guise of his alter-egos: the wannabe gangster Ali G, the misogynistic Kazak reporter, Borat; and the flamboyantly gay fashion reporter, BrÂșno. Most of his celebrity subjects are not told that Baron is playing a comedic character, only that he has a popular show on MTV; as a result, his interviews result in surprising conversations, often where the subject is inadvertently coerced into making fun of themselves. He jumped from the small screen to the big screen with this summer's blockbuster comedy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. A talent strong enough to steal the show from Will Ferrell, Sacha plays a refined homosexual formula one driver from France, a man who embodies blue state ideals in a hilarious foil to our redneck hero. His accent, overwrought and lacerating as he pronounces Ricky Bobby, is priceless. Sacha now takes another beloved character to the silver screen: Borat, the naive television reporter from Kazakhstan. Whether trying to harvest Conan O'Brian's pubis, getting cut from the MTV Movie Awards for anti-Semitic remarks, or getting a bar room full of people to sing a vitriolic anthem against the Jews, Borat is an intensely controversial figure, not to mention this year's most celebrated Halloween costume. The film is already getting rave reviews despite its massively long title: Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
