Rihanna to Produce British Fashion Reality Show

Move over, Heidi Klum, there is another fashionista ready to make a splash on the TV fashion scene!

Music star Rihanna will be producing her own reality TV competition, dubbed the “British 'Project Runway'.” She may not be a designer, but her edgy fashion and style choices have earned her many fans and kudos. Let’s face it, she takes risks with her clothes, hair, tattoos, and shoes, and it works. After all, she is currently the face of Armani Jeans, and she has appeared on the cover of Vogue all before the age of 25.

The show will air on Sky Living HD and will focus on the search for the next big undiscovered design talent in Britain. Girls Aloud singer, Nicola Roberts, will host. The contestants will have ten weeks to design and create original outfits for musicians and artists. The best part is, for the final task, contestants will have to design an outfit for Rihanna to wear for Wireless in Hyde Park. The performance will take place at one of London’s largest parks in the summer of this year.

This is RiRi’s first stab at producing. She will not be a regularly fixture on the show, but she will be hands-on in the casting of contestants. Fingers crossed she will make many guest appearances.

While it will only be on the Brit’s "telly", as they say, hopefully it will also be available streaming online for U.S. viewers to get a peak!
