The Scene

Q&A with The Final Destination star Bobby Campo

ME: Now that you've made a splash with a no.1 movie; what's next?

BOBBY C: A lot is happening, I feel like I'm at the tipping point. The thing I like about this business is that I can do anything - and that excited me. I'm really just starting out, so I know there is much that I have to discover and refine as an actor; that's exciting for me as well.

ME: Audiences love a good scare. Are you into fright flicks?

BOBBY C: 28 days later is my favorite. Typically I like more drama and action movies, that's more my scene

ME: What would be your ideal genre? Comedy? Drama?

BOBBY C: Drama and action. I love good comic book movies. The worst part about getting really busy is not being able to go to the movies as much. I wanna see Basterds this weekend.

ME: When did you get into acting?

BOBBY C: I fell into this acting thing about 3 years ago. I was in Florida and not sure what to do. I joined this class and just fell in love with it. I started doing every day and that's how I ended up here in LA.

ME: Any advice to all those starving artists out there?

BOBBY C: Eat something!!! Kidding"¦

There are 3 things I would say in the simplest terms, can bring you to your destination: 1) Create a vision of what you want to become. 2) Push yourself towards that vision. 3) Pray constantly so that you can maintain your vision at all cost.

ME: This one is for the ladies! What do you look for in a partner?

BOBBY C: What I look for in a girl is someone who is strong, opinionated, a smart girl because I can be a bull in a china cabinet sometimes and she's going to have to stand up to me and tell me that I'm being silly. Also, she has to make a mean marinara sauce. At the end of the day... ESPECIALLY at the end of the day. I'm an Italian man.
