Can you turn a burning passion for dance into a lucrative career and empower women at the same time? You betcha.

Do you think that a woman can be scantily clad, have an amazing body and have something empowering to say? You betcha.

That is the very philosophy of the Pussy Cat Dolls and Robin Antin's dream. Robin wanted to create a dynamic group that represented the empowerment of women while entertaining audiences at the same time. Just listen to some of their lyrics and you'll get it. Don't cha and I Don't Need a Man are a few examples of the empowering songs that they have released.

You may also know them if you admit to the guilty pleasure of watching "The Search for the Next Doll or maybe you've been to one of their many shows throughout the world. Whatever the case may be these dynamic, gorgeous, talented women do have a strong sense of self in conjunction with their breathtaking beauty.

If you have had the opportunity to see them then you know that they certainly keep you captivated and entranced throughout their performance. Just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Brittany Murphy or Heather Graham, all of whom have been spotted attending Pussycat Doll shows.

Robin Antin conceptualized the idea of a burlesque group with her old high school buddy, Christina Applegate. From 1995 to 2007 the Pussycat Dolls have had a variety of cast changes and many would say that the progression has proven successful.

Would you say that Robin Antin is a visionary? Has she created a whole new Young Hollywood? Yes, she has. Simply look at the core members of the Pussycat Dolls: Carmit Bachar, Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutto and, their newest addition, Asia Nittollano. You'll not only find flawless, classic beauty but youthful attitudes in tandem with unrelenting talent and style. Those are all characteristics of a Young Hollwood lifestyle.

The Pussycat Dolls started out as a burlesque ensemble performing at the Viper Room and eventually transitioned into a music group in 2003 with the involvement of Jimmy Iovine and Ron Fair from Interscope Records. With their assistance and Robin's creative genius, the Pussycat Dolls were recast and transformed into a R&B/Pop recording sensation.

Their first release was in 2004. Since then, they have gone on to attain international commercial success.

Their first single, Don't Cha became their first hit. The follow-up Sticwitu became the group's first U.S. number one Billboard Pop Radio hit in the States and in the U.K.

They have performed alongside Rihanna, The Black Eyed Peas, served as the opening act for Jane's Addiction, and most recently toured with Christina Aguilera.

Robin Antin certainly has her thumb on the pulse of what Young Hollywood embraces.

The Pussycat Dolls is a perfect example of what happens when one follows their passion and believes wholeheartedly in their vision.

Robin basically developed the cat nip for feminism and we, here at Young Hollywood, thank her. You can purr sweetly in the knowledge that your hard work will pay off without having to claw your way to the top.
