Miami is legendary for a night scene that drips with decadent possibility and hedonistic energy. Every year a throng of fashion and entertainment mavens descend on the Sun and Fun Capitalù to experience the American Riviera as it was meant to be experienced: with precious little clothing and a black Amex card.Miami Vice first put the city in the popular consciousness, but insiders know that Miami is truly about the live Latin jazz venues, the dance floors of velvet rope guarded clubs, and of course, the beaches that go on for miles.Staying on top of what's hot poses a challenge, as ever-more fabulous concepts open each season. And each seems to have its own idiosyncratic name and concept. The half-life for such elite hot spots is extremely short out here, but if you get a chance to party at one of these ephemeral palaces of pleasure, you will be in for the ride of your life.Established in 1896, Miami is still going strong with beautiful scenery and beautiful people, but most importantly, beautiful hangouts. YH did a little investigating to find out just where all those hot beach bodies start their days and end their nights. Here is what we found...DayThe Delano Hotel The Delano Hotel is where everyone wants to start his or her day off. This casual chic urban resort is located in the heart of Miami Beach. This hotel features an original designed quartz swimming pool and water salon as well as a rooftop women's bathhouse and solarium. Spend a day at the Rose bar. Designed by Phillip Stark and full of beautiful people, this hot spot offers the full Miami glamour factor.Shore ClubDesigned by famed British architect David Chipperfield and landscaping inspired by the rich intense Matisse-inspired colors of the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, The Shore Club is redefining cool on Miami's South Beach, and also home to Nobu, Scoop, and Ago.When you want to shop, check out Scoop. The Shore Club hotel boutique hails from New York City and is the shop of choice for celebs like Cameron Diaz, who just walks in and doesn't have to ask the price of the latest from Diane Von Furstenberg, Helmut Lang, Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, Malo, and Jimmy Choo. When you get hungry from all that shopping, check out Nobu and Ago. Serving cutting-edge Japanese cuisine, Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert DeNiro's renowned NOBU comes to Miami Beach. Inspired by traditional Japanese techniques and infused with Latin influences, this sophisticated cuisine offers an enticing new twist on sushi, sashimi and other Japanese classics. Overlooking the pools with rustic ambiance, experience Agostino Sciandri's traditional Tuscan creations at AGO. Indoor or oceanfront terrace dining serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Shore Club is a destination resort ideally located on the oceanfront, but within walking distance or a short drive to South Beach's most popular attractions. Lincoln Road the most famous street in Miami Beach was originally intended to house artists, musicians, and entertainers. It is now the location of shops, restaurants, a yoga studio, and a hostel, as well as a boardwalk ideal for people watching. It's also a great place to sit outside at one of the many sidewalk cafes. Enjoy a mojito (Ernest Hemingway's favorite drink!) & dog watch as an endless parade of people and their dogs in the evenings. Night Sky Bar Back at Shore Club, spread throughout the intense, electric, cobalt blue walls, fountains and pergolas, Skybar Miami Beach matches any mood and entertainment at any time within the deeply sensual background of the colorful tropical gardens. The Skybar Miami Beach features four separate bars set within the deeply sensual background of the colorful tropical gardens, is the premiere spot for the South Beach nightlife. Mansion Miami's newest superclub Mansion is located in a renovated art deco theater and offers three meticulously designed rooms of music as well as regular celebrity hosts. Mansion is elegantly designed featuring sweeping staircases, Venetian glass mirrors, and amazing crystal chandeliers. There are two levels with a total of six bars. Hit the dance floor where you could be surrounded by five hundred people and still have plenty of room to walk around. Mansion is a celebrity pick with visits from such celebrities as Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton. Cameo If you are looking for very trendy, very pricey and very shiny, this is where you will be happiest. It is also where you will find the West Side's wealthy 30-something hipsters hanging out. Later at night, a phalanx of men in well-cut suits will arrive to watch ladies sipping lemon drops. Mokai A favorite haunt of the ubiquitous party set: Lindsay Lohan, Pharrell Williams, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Adrian Grenier and Enrique Iglesias, this A List club allows only 220 souls inside its velvet ropes. But once inside, the elites can party till 5 AM. More of a bottle service lounge (they have 22 tables) than a dancing venue, the dcor and moniker are supposed to be inspired by a New Zealand canyon where the Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed. However, the haze of purple lights and modern furniture seem more reminiscent of a Prince music video. Casa Tua The stunning Casa Tua is a sleek and chic country Italian-style establishment set in a refurbished 1925 Mediterranean-style house cum hotel. It has several dining areas, including a resplendent outdoor garden, comfy Ralph Lauren-esque living room, and a communal eat-in kitchen. Casa Casuarina Built in the 1930s, Casa Casuarina is historic and picturesque. Now a restored and refurbished hotel and club, this establishment successfully maintains its old world charm, and provides its guests with all the modern comforts. In a city known for distinguished residences, the Casa quickly became the most distinguished residence in all of Miami. Styled after traditional European clubs, the composition of the Casa club will be formed by the members themselves. Membership only comes through personal invitation, select group of Founding Members ensuring a dynamic culture that will offer a certain degree of commonality and cohesion for this small yet global community.
