5 years after opening the first of the mega-successful upscale bowling franchise Lucky Strike, in Hollywood, Los Angeles' event and nightlife kings, the Alliance (Josh Richman and Hartwell along with their ubiquitous superstar associates Kevin Todd and Jean Paul Rodriguez), brought the brand full circle with the grand opening of the 18th location last night at LA Live across the street from the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
The star studded event saw Hollywood's elite and beautiful mixing it up in and on the inimitable lanes and lounges that can only be found at a Lucky Strike. Having come from the Laker game, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Arquette and Kevin Connolly bowled all night alongside Paris, Nicky and Barron Hilton. First up on the lanes, getting the party started, were Avril Lavigne and husband, Sum 41's Dercyk Whibley.
Amanda Bynes, Lake Bell, Evan Ross, Jesse McCartney, Ryan Cabrera, Christina Milian and Keyshia Cole all followed suit while, at the other end of the alley, MTV's juggernaut,The Hills filmed their stars Lauren Conrad, Lo Bosworth and Frankie Delgado cavorting with their friends in the contiual perpetuation of art imitating life for the rest of the world to see via their televisions.
Luxe, the 4 lane separate party space at the far end of the venue, was held down by LA's select scenesters who bowled and cajoled deep into the festive Friday night.
This location, pun intended, will be a Slam Dunk draw and compliment to LA's downtown sports and entertainment mecca.
