You know what would really get us out of that jam? A talking car that solved crime. Arrive in style and save the day. Not a bad gig if you can get it.

With a little help from the good folks at Mio, we can at least find our way with the Knight Rider GPS navigation system. What you do when you get there is up to you.

Intentionally kitschy yet functional, it uses a state of the art directional unit to get you where you need to go. It even features a display with a series of red LED lights that mimic the iconic hood-mounted lights. But the best part is that it features the original voice of KITT!

If ever there were a more perfect marriage between television and technology, I certainly can't think of one. I've already taken a screwdriver to my old GPS and tossed it in the dustbin.

Retails for around $299.

Crime-solving program not currently available; still worth every penny.
