Kate Hudson gets two points for not only stepping into the world of celebrity endorsement, but she's also attaching her name to an eco friendly product that supports wildlife. She's beyond trendy and ahead of the curve!

Stop me if you've heard this one before: Hollywood It Girl becomes BFF with her stylist and they work together to create a line of products. Well, that's what happened when Kate teamed up with celeb hairstylist David Babaii to create the new David Babaii for Wild Aid.

But they didn't just throw their name on some generic crap. It took some work. About two years in the lab testing to create the right formula.

The hair products are free from sulfates and petrochemicals that are harmful for the environment, parabens and animal products. Natch, animal testing is strictly prohibited.

The best part? The products are all in the mid-tier price range, from $11.95 to $14.95.

The line includes shampoos, conditioners, hair polish, beach spray, molding paste and sculpting clay, with styling sprays, mousse and root amplifiers on the way. They also carry high quality flat irons and blow dryers at $120 each.

David Babaii for Wild Aid hair care donates a percentage of the profits to the wildlife preservation organization Wild Aid.
