"Idol" Alums Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Jennifer Hudson Turn to Ryan Tedder for Latest Hits

Sparks scored a top ten hit on her last album, Battlefield, with the title track, which was co-written by Tedder and production team The Runaways. She teamed up with Tedder again for the Tedder-penned new song "The World I Knew," which runs over the end credits of the DisneyNature documentary African Cats. Take a look at the music video:

And Tedder also co-wrote with Jennifer Hudson the title track for her new album, I Remember Me, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 in March.

Tedder reunited with Adam Lambert recently to work on tracks for his forthcoming sophomore album, and he even stopped by "American Idol" one week this season to work with contestant Stefano Langone in the studio. (Originally, Tedder was meant to work with Pia Toscano but was shifted over to Langone at the last minute.)

As if that weren't enough, the indefatigable Tedder also co-wrote two tracks on Adele's latest album (including "Turning Tables," which Gwyneth Paltrow just covered on "Glee"), sang on Far East Movement's top ten hit "Rocketeer," and performed OneRepublic's latest hit "Good Life" with the band on "Dancing With the Stars" recently.  Jeez, does this guy ever slow down?  "Idol" bosses sure hope not!
