How Blake Lively Goes Green

This is the thing: we all wear clothes, like, pretty much daily. They need to be washed. When you have really nice stuff, you have to take it to the dry cleaners.

I had always thought that going to the cleaners was such a hassle and expense, until I actually went to one. It's actually pretty cheap, especially when doing only a few items at a time.

Yet, as soon as I say "dry cleaning," what do you picture? Clothes hanging in those long plastic bags. I don't want to be all Mother Nature lover, but seriously, the production of plastic puts toxins in the air and few people recycle those dry cleaning bags. And that's my story.

No, wait! Just kidding. That was the intermission.

Hollywood loves being green, so there's a celebrity-approved solution. Those little green bags I mentioned earlier? They're from The Green Garmento. The fine folks over there sent me their limited edition Orange Sunshine bag and I love it! These colorful bags offer a reusable alternative to the plastic bag. They also work as a hamper and strapped carry-all. Hello sunshine, goodbye plastic bags!

I told you my laundry story had a point. There's a happy ending, too.
