"Dragon Ball Z" Returning to the Big Screen with the "Resurrection of Frieza"!

Did you really think that the newest “Dragon Ball Z” movie, Dragon Ball Z:Battle of Gods, which was released in America in August, was just a one-off feature-length return of the popular anime show in over 17 years? Guess again. “Dragon Ball” franchise creator Akira Toriyama has something else up his sleeve… an all-new “Dragon Ball Z” movie called Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F!

What is known about Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F is that “Fukkastu” translates in English to “resurrection”, and the “F” stands for Frieza. That’s right, arguably “Dragon Ball Z”’s greatest villain Frieza is set to return from the grave. The plot will revolve around surviving members of Frieza’s army trekking through deep space to Earth in order to gather the dragon balls and wish Frieza back to life. I’m banking on them doing so and bringing Frieza back to challenge Goku and the gang again.

Although not revealed to have a part in the plot, but featured on the first poster, is main Battle of Gods antagonist Beerus. What part will the God of Destruction play in this latest installment? No idea. But spoiler alert if you haven’t seen Battle of Gods: I remember Beerus being very upset that Frieza was killed by Goku, but at the end of the day admired Goku and spared his life after opening a can of whoop-ass on him. But since he was upset by Frieza’s death, will Beerus team up with Frieza to take down Goku? Assuming Goku has kept up his training, then maybe, this time around, he will take out Beerus.

Since Fukkatsu no F is set to premiere in Japan on April 25, 2015, we have no idea when it will be getting here to the States. But fear not -- Battle of Gods only took about a year-and-a-half to get here, so seeing this one shouldn’t take too long, and it will be released in both 2D and 3D! But if you’re a fan of reading English subtitles under long periods of energy blasting action, then look out for Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F the Bootleg, premiering on April 26, 2015, on a torrent site near you!

In the meantime, peep the trailer for Battle of Gods below!
