To screaming fan girls everywhere he'll be Edward Cullen forever;here's some career advice for Robert Pattison. Don't try to outlive Edward. The character is undead. You lose. Though it would be quite a score to go from Twilight to star in another epic big-screen series, it would be wise to avoid the pitfalls of a potential over-the-top flop. Orlando Bloom successfully drifted from leading man in Lord of the Rings to Pirates of the Caribbean, but nobody predicted the wildfire success of the latter. It was a bit of luck, a bit of movie magic and a bit of Jack. Robert seems to be playing it smart, moving to indie flicks where he can continue to showcase and deepen his acting skills. I call this the Leo method, after Leonardo DiCaprio brilliantly molded the fan mania of Titanic into an A-List Hollywood career. Well played. R.Patz can move in the same direction, but if I had his ear I'd suggest something else entirely. Here's my unsolicited advice: Become a rock star. With his songs on the Twilight soundtrack and more to come with New Moon, he can easily carry over the movie's fans. His sound is deep and brooding, perfect for the college set, so right there his fan base is growing well beyond tween fan girls. Add the moms who took their tween daughters to the theaters and all the right demos are covered. Additionally, he should become a hair model. That famous 'do could be making him some serious cash on the side. After suggesting his stylist use his favorite pomade by Black & White to toss his locks, the next logical step is becoming a spokesperson for the brand. It's ingenious marketing, really. And free product. If you're reading this Robert, call me - we'll do lunch!
