About Last Night: Lamar Odom Still Celebrating Lakers 6 Weeks Later

With a lot of the Hollywood "scene" on vacation (See: Paris Hilton making worldwide news taking champagne showers in St. Tropez), the party circuit beyond this weekend's X-Games has been relatively quiet... except for one champion still celebrating.

Six weeks to the night after helping the Lakers win the NBA Championship, Lamar Odom was where he has been most of the nights this summer: celebrating at a mega nightclub. After spending last weekend in a "Dougie" competition against Lebron James at Tao in Las Vegas, he hit Playhouse Hollywood Thursday night (July 29) with brother-in-law Rob Kardashian. (Wife Khloe was AWOL).

Although there was no competition from the player headed to South Beach, there was a Miami feeling in the building as perennial South Florida club fixture Scott Storch was also on hand to celebrate the birthday of a lesser known member of Miami-based rap group The Terror Squad. (Known mainly for their iconic diamond initial chains.)

With most of the action this weekend surrounding ESPN's X-Games, the downtown "Hyde" will be hosting a series of bashes for the niche athletes and celeb fans who haven't headed out of town to the beach.
