Hi everyone!

I’m really excited to add “Contributing YH Editor” to my expanding resume.  :)  This means you’ll have to keep coming back to visit my blog with each entry as I promise to have some interesting and fun things to share.

With that in mind and for those that know me from my acting resume, I am a bit of a multi-tasker as I’m also in a band with my brother Kellin called Boomkat.  Our sophomore album, A Million Trillion Stars is out now!  A track from the album “Burn” was on MTV’s The City last Thursday night, which I am extremely excited about.  Also, our track “Run Boy” was recently featured on The CW’s Melrose Place as well as my first solo single, “So Talented” and ME!  I was a bit of a hustler with my gun, but gotta love a strong woman! :)  Watch out!!

She’s sexy, young and fun, and she’s been working for this moment her whole life!

Art collectors, Beatles enthusiasts or the like can now own a rare piece of music history in a one of a kind collection of original Beatles artwork by the great modern artist Jim Dine.  These works were originally commissioned by Capitol Records for a Beatles album which was never made due to the band leaving the label and forming Apple Records.  The untitled pieces - 5 in all - will be auctioned off on Tuesday, November 17, at Bonhams and Butterfields.  Each comes signed and dated 'Jim Dine 1968' and would be a fine addition to any collection.  Learn more about the pieces by clicking here.

People love a good scare. Roller coasters, even surprise parties. The rush is fun as long as it’s not an actual life-shattering dramatic moment. Those aren’t usually fun, but very jolting nonetheless.

A good scare gets the blood pumping, snaps the mind to high alert and administers an adrenaline high that’s worth an early grey hair or two.

In the theater setting, it’s also a good time to latch on to your date. They think they’re protecting you, allowing you to fawn over how good they smell.  

Ever wonder what Sal Masekela does when he’s not hosting Daily 10 or chatting up celebs on the red carpet?  Probably training for the ING NY Marathon he’ll be participating in on Nov. 1 to raise funds for his foundation, Stoked Mentoring, a nonprofit action sports organization for at risk youth.  Diddy was the first of many to pledge a generous donation to the foundation if Sal beat his original time in the marathon after Sal put him up to the challenge via Twitter.  Celebs like Rob Dyrdek and Justin Timberlake, and corporations like DFDTV.com, Ad.ly, Asics and Tanqueray have taken Diddy’s lead and jumped on board to sponsor Sal.  With all these donations at stake, the heat is on the smiley TV star to haul ass!
