To quote the name of an Oscar favorite a few years ago, Haitians are assured that there will be Hollywood blood coming their way.

Don’t: socks and sandals. Unless you’re a soccer player and you like to slip on the adidas ones before/after wearing your cleats, this is a serious fashion offense. Not only is it exceedingly unattractive, but also totally illogical and looks kind of insane. Just wear close-toed shoes to spare your friends and loved ones the second-hand embarrassment and save the sandals for a warmer day.
