Twilight star Michael Welch has filed for divorce from his estranged wife.
The actor, who played Mike Newton in the first three installments of the hit vampire franchise, split from Marissa Lefton in 2011.
On Valentine's Day (14Feb13) they moved to make their separation
official by filing a joint petition to end their marriage at the
Los Angeles Superior Court, according to TMZ.com.
The couple married in 2008 and has no children.
