R&B star Trey Songz has scored his first number one album at the fifth attempt.

Chapter V has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart thanks to opening week sales of 135,000.

Last week's number one - 2 Chainz's Based on a T.R.U. Story - falls to two and the Now 43 compilation also drops a spot to three.

DJ Khaled's Kiss the Ring scores the chart's second highest entry at four and Justin Bieber's Believe rounds out the top five.

Meanwhile, it's a sad week for Adele and her fans - her smash-hit album 21 has slipped out of the top 10 for the first time in its 79-week chart.

The album is tied with Def Leppard's Hysteria and Michael Jackson's Thriller for the third-longest run in the top 10 since 1963. Only Bruce Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. (84 weeks) and The Sound of Music soundtrack (109 weeks) have spent more time in the top 10.

Meanwhile, in the singles chart, Taylor Swift logs a second week at number one with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together - a week after she shot to the top of the countdown with the best opening sales week for a woman. Flo Rida's Whistle and Ellie Goulding's Lights stay put at two and three respectively.
