TITANS TOPPLE DATE NIGHT IN BOX OFFICE BATTLE

Clash Of The Titans has won the battle of the box office a day after early studio estimates suggested comedy Date Night was the country's top film.

Initial reports put Steve Carell and Tina Fey's comedy on top of the weekend movie chart - by an estimated $200,000, but official figures have the action epic ahead by $1.4 million.

Experts claim Clash of the Titans performed much better than anticipated on Sunday (11Apr10) and took in $26.6 million to claim the box office top spot for a second successive week.
