TIFFANI THIESSEN SKYPED HUSBAND BABY NEWS

Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Tiffani Thiessen told her husband she was pregnant with their first child via Skype.

The actress was shooting new TV drama White Collar in New York last year (09) when she discovered she was expecting and she has modern technology to thank for being able to tell husband Brady Smith he was going to be a dad face to face.

Thiessen says, "My husband was still living in Los Angeles... and when I got pregnant we were apart, but, these days, with the digital and all that, we Skyped each other. I was able to tell him on Skype. I told him he was going to be a father on Skype."

And she held up her pregnancy test for the camera, so Smith could see she was serious.

Little Harper Renn was born last month (Jun10).
