Taylor assault charges dropped

Officials in Los Angeles have reportedly dropped assault charges against R&B singer Teyana Taylor due to lack of evidence.

The star was left facing prosecution following an alleged altercation with a woman at an L.A. recording studio back in April (11). She was accused of hitting the unnamed female several times during the scuffle.

Taylor claimed she acted in self-defense and the case against her has now been dropped, according to TMZ.com.
