T.I. TO REMAIN UNDER CURFEW AFTER RELEASE

Rapper T.I. will have to adhere to a strict curfew when he is finally allowed home on Friday (26Mar10), after a post-prison stint in a halfway house.

The Live Your Life hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., was jailed last year (09) on charges of weapons possession stemming from a 2007 arrest.

He was transferred from a prison in Arkansas to a halfway house near his home in Atlanta, Georgia in December (09), after serving seven months behind bars.

The hip-hop star will be sent home on Friday, but has to spend 23 days on supervised release and will have to adhere to an 11pm curfew every night - unless he is performing, in which case he will be allowed to stay out until 1am.

T.I. will also complete 400 hours of community service and serve three years probation, according to TMZ.com.
