Stars turn out for Serpentine Gallery Summer Party

Members of the Hollywood elite, including Kate Hudson and new father Benedict Cumberbatch, mingled with rock stars and supermodels at the annual Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London on Thursday night (02Jul15).

Famous faces from across the entertainment industry gathered for the iconic annual bash, which is held every year in Kensington Gardens to mark the unveiling of the new pavilion design.

The event marked Cumberbatch's first public appearance since he became a first-time dad last month (Jun15), and he was joined by his wife Sophie Hunter, the mother of his three-week-old son.

Others at the bash included Ewan McGregor, 12 Years A Slave actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, Hollywood star Hudson, Arctic Monkeys rocker Alex Turner and his ex-girlfriend, TV presenter Alexa Chung, small screen funnyman James Corden, and supermodels Karlie Kloss, Suki Waterhouse and Lara Stone.

The event also included performances by 1980s pop stars Spandau Ballet and producer Mark Ronson.
