Shakira denies break-up rumors

Shakira has silenced rumors suggesting she has split from her soccer ace boyfriend Gerard Pique after sending the athlete a sweet Twitter.com message ahead of his match on Tuesday (04Oct11).

Rumors of Gerard Pique's alleged infidelity led many to believe the romance was over, but Hips Don't Lie hitmaker Shakira has now spoken out to dismiss break-up claims.

Sending a note to the Spanish hunk, who plays for Barcelona, Shakira wrote, "Good luck to the Spanish national side and to my number 3, muah (kisses) @3gerardpique."

The singer's press manager in Colombia, Rodrigo Beltran, also issued a statement to deny the reports, telling news agency EFE, "(It's) completely false. They are still together and are very well."
