Selena Gomez gets in some target practice at shooting range

Selena Gomez continued to take aim at her good girl reputation by letting off steam at a shooting range during a break from filming.

The Wizards of Waverly Place actress is currently in Bulgaria filming her next project, The Getaway, but couldn't help getting back to her Texan roots by firing off a few rounds on Wednesday (16May12).

She uploaded shots of her aiming a pistol at a target to her Facebook.com account, alongside the caption, "Releasing some stress".

The star has been trying to shed her clean-cut image in recent months by taking on more provocative roles.

She will play a bad girl student in upcoming movie Spring Breakers, and revealed she had to be taught how to smoke a cigarette for the part.

Gomez told Interview magazine, "I was getting kind of repetitive in terms of the roles I was picking, and I really wanted to do something that was completely different. It was a mark thing for me - like, 'This is what I want to be doing.' I want to be taking myself seriously as an actress..."
